Cindy Crawford In Two-Piece Workout Gear Is “Relaxin’ All Summer”

Despite being almost 60, Cindy Crawford has remained ageless. She looks the same way she did in George Michael’s “Freedom! 90” music video. And a recent Instagram post proves it. In it, Cindy sat outside at golden hour on her porch. She wore a light blue two-piece set of workout gear, looking comfy as ever. Cindy captioned the post, “Relaxing all summer long.” How does Cindy Crawford make 59 look like 29? Here are 5 of her secrets.
She Makes Smoothies
Cindy is a big smoothie lover. “I got inspired by a friend who has a company called Urban Remedies,” she tells The Cut. “When I’m traveling, I order her smoothies to be delivered. When I’m home, I’ll make it myself. It has almond milk, a little piece of banana, a cup of spinach, some mint, a little cacao and I put in green powder — I’ve been using the Elle MacPherson’s SuperElixir — and then I put in protein powder.”
She Does Cardio
Cindy does a lot of cardio workouts, and shared her favorites with The Cut. “My go-to workout would be 20 minutes of cardio then weights,” Cindy says. “Sometimes the cardio is jumping on a trampoline, using a treadmill or elliptical, or running. We have stairs going down to the beach from our house. I put on an audiobook or music while I run the stairs at my house for 20 minutes. I just finished the Amy Schumer one, which was fantastic.”
She Strength Trains
As she mentioned in the previous blurb, Cindy loves to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared some of her favorite exercises in her interview with The Cut. “I try to get 20 minutes of cardio at least three times a week. Then I do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour of old school lunges, weights, squats, and bicep curls — it’s just stuff that I learned 30 years ago.”
She Does Pilates
Cindy talked about her love of Pilates on an episode of the Him & Her Podcast, as reported by TODAY. “I have to say, because I sometimes get lower back stuff, even if my back’s hurting, I can do Pilates because I can modify it. And I’ve never gotten hurt doing Pilates.” She also shared this post on Instagram of herself doing exercises on a reformer, captioning it, “Morning pilates just hits better in a matching set.”
She Gets A Lot Of Protein
Cindy makes sure to eat enough protein. She shared some of her favorite meals with Into The Gloss. “On a typical weekday I usually have a protein shake for breakfast because it’s fast—I need to get the kids out the door… For lunch I’ll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we’ll go for sushi, or if we eat at home I’ll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable.”
