1. She Uses A Stationary Bike

\Ruah shared this Instagram video of herself working out. In the caption, she revealed that she rode 5 kilometers on a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness reports that riding a stationary bike has a lot of benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

2. She Runs

In the previous post’s caption, Ruah revealed that she also ran a mile that day. Running is a great workout. FloTrack reports, “Running releases endorphins, which then trigger a positive feeling in your body. The chemicals released after any exercise improve your mood and decrease anxiety and stress. You get a boost of energy and self-esteem and your sleep also improves. Running can set into motion a continuous cycle of improving different facets of your mental health.”

3. She Works Her Abs

Ruah makes sure to do ab workouts. In the previous Instagram video, she is seen doing core workouts like mountain climbers and bicycle crunches. The Mayo Clinic reports that doing ab workouts has a lot of benefits. “Your core is the central part of your body. It includes your pelvis, lower back, hips and stomach. The stomach muscles sometimes are called abs. Core exercises train the muscles in your core to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and steadiness, also called stability. Stability is important whether you're on the playing field or doing regular activities.”

4. She Jumps Rope

In this Instagram video, Ruah is seen jumping rope. She captioned the post, “Ran 1.5mi with the kids next to me on their scooters, dropped them off at home, and ran another mile. Here are a few of the exercises I did afterwards at home... as you can see, you can use anything including the pups 🐕 comment exercise suggestions if ya have any!”

5. She Does Planks

Ruah is seen holding a plank in her Instagram video. Gymless reports that planks are a great way to stay in shape. “When holding a plank you are balancing your body on your forearms, and toes, the majority of the work in a plank is done by your core. The primary muscles worked are the abdominals, and obliques. The secondary muscles worked are the anterior deltoids, serratus anterior, trapezius, rhomboids, and glutes."
