Dancing With the Stars regular Daniella Karagach Pashkova is giving fans a glimpse at what her recent life at home looks like. Pashkova, 31, shared a picture of herself wearing gray jogging pants and a white tank crop top, taking a mirror selfie outside her bathroom. “Life is lifeing🥹🤍 #family #love #home,” she captioned the post. “Lifeing looks gooooood 😍😍😍,” commented Peta Murgatroyd. Here’s how the dancer and busy mom stays fit, happy, and healthy.

1. She Uses Resistance Bands

Pashkova never travels without her resistance bands. “I want to keep moving and performing,” she told E! News. “That's where my passion is. Somebody asked me 'If you're a billionaire right now, you wouldn't have to work a day in your life. Would you still do the show?' Yes, I would. That's my passion… You might think this is weird, but I always have a Theraband with me. I never feel complete without it. It just gives me resistance and makes me feel more connected before I start my warm up or whatever."

2. Coffee Lover

Pashkova relies on coffee to give her a boost throughout the day. “I love coffee,” she told E! News. “I wish I had a Nespresso sponsorship. If I could have any sponsorship, it would be with Nespresso. I go through so much espresso in a month. It's crazy. I put my in-laws on it. I got my mom a machine too. We all love it so much.”

3. Hair and Makeup

Pashkova has an early start for Dancing With the Stars. “Every pro dancer has their own hair and makeup squad assigned to them at the beginning of the season,” she told New Beauty. “They stay with the dancer until they get eliminated. Hair is in one trailer and the makeup team is in another at 6 or 7 a.m. Whenever your call time is, you go into whichever is first on the schedule. Every schedule is different based on the order you dance in. Each pro dancer and celeb is assigned their own trailer. Right before we go on stage, we get touched-up by the stage area where our hair and makeup team has their own station.”

4. Favorite Perfume

Le Labo LYS 41 is Pashkova’s favorite perfume. “I’m obsessed with spraying this perfume right before I go on stage,” she told New Beauty. “It’s a weird habit of mine that I can’t go without! I just fell in love with how spicy it was. I love to try out different fragrances and play around with them, but this is one scent that became a staple in my routine. That spicy, flowery scent just works for me. I don’t feel complete without it!”

5. Acne Struggles

Pashkova says she dealt with severe acne when she first went on Dancing With the Stars. “It took about a month for my skin to calm down,” she told Morning Honey. “Once I got off the tour, my skin was just crystal clear. It was just crazy to me because I was really struggling for two years. I didn't think there was anything out there that could help. I cannot tell you how grateful I am.”

Oksana Grishina is a fitness superstar. And she’s still working out, even though she’s currently pregnant. Grishina shared a workout video on Instagram recently. In it, she is seen doing push-ups and exercises with weights. She captioned the post, “FULL BODY WORKOUT 🏋️‍♂️ SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE 💪🏼” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Oksana Grishina stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Strength Trains

As you can tell from her Instagram post, Grishina likes to strength train. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

2. She Does Push Ups

Shot,Of,Young,Woman,Doing,Push-ups,At,The,Gym.,MuscularShutterstock

According to Harvard Health, the push-ups Grishina does in her Instagram post have health benefits. “The push-up engages your body from top to bottom. It works several muscle groups at once: the arms, chest, abdomen (core), hips, and legs. Push-ups also can be modified as needed. A study published in the February 2016 issue of the Journal of Physical Therapy Science found that the chest muscle activity was greater when push-ups were performed with the hands placed halfway inward from their normal position. Hands placed outward work the triceps more.”

3. She Works Out With Others

Grishina likes to exercise with her friends, as you can see in this post. Better Health says that this is beneficial. “If you’ve arranged to meet a friend for a walk or booked an exercise class, you’re more likely to keep that commitment. Not wanting to let your friend or exercise partner down can be a great motivator to show up. And as your exercise becomes routine, perhaps after a few weeks, you’ll both find it less challenging and will more likely stick to your commitment.”

4. She Spends Time Outside

Grishina likes to spend time outside. She shared this video of herself doing exercises outside on Instagram. UC Davis states that spending time outside has a lot of mental benefits. “When we're in urban environments or the office all day, we can experience sensory overload, resulting in tension and mental fatigue. Studies have shown that our minds and bodies relax in a natural setting. This increases feelings of pleasure and can help us concentrate and focus more effectively, according to studies in the National Library of Medicine.”

5. She Swims

An outdoor activity Grishina likes to do is going swimming. She shared this video of herself in a pool on Instagram. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. "Swimming is a wonderful sport. I definitely recommend swimming for people of all ages," says Dr. Matthew Crowe, a Mayo Clinic orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert. "Swimming is easy on the joints, and it's very good for both cardiac health and your core strength. And it also can give you really excellent strength around the shoulders, and hips and knees.”

Bakhar Nabieva, a successful bodybuilder with a huge following on Instagram, often shares her fitness journey and workout routines with her fans. Known for her impressive physique, she regularly posts videos of herself performing weightlifting exercises, showcasing her dedication to maintaining her strength and form. Last week, Nabieva shared a video of herself posing in new workout clothes at the gym, inspiring her followers with both her fashion sense and fitness tips. Here’s a deeper dive into her favorite exercises and how they contribute to her strength and overall fitness.

1. She Uses Weights

Bakhar Nabieva.1Bakhar Nabieva/Instagram

Being a bodybuilder, Nabieva lifts a lot of weights to keep herself in shape. According to ACE Fitness, this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

2. She Does Deadlifts

One exercise that Nabieva does to stay fit are deadlifts. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them. ACE Fitness reports that the exercise has a lot of benefits. “The barbell deadlift can help clients improve their total-body strength, while placing a specific emphasis on the posterior muscles involved in hip, knee and back extension. Increasing the strength of the posterior chain muscles can help clients reduce or avoid low-back pain while also teaching them how to synchronize movement of the ankles, knees, hips and back into one pattern. The deadlift can help an individual develop a level of strength that can be used for a number of other exercises or to improve performance in activities requiring significant levels of hip and core strength.”

3. She Does Squats

Nabieva also enjoys doing squats to stay fit. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them. Piedmont reports that squats are very beneficial. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”

4. She Does Planks

Bakhar Nabieva.5Bakhar Nabieva/Instagram

In this video on her Instagram, Nabieva is seen doing planks. The Cleveland Clinic reports that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Plank exercises work your core muscles, which are located between your pelvic floor and diaphragm. The area is also known as your trunk. These muscles support your movements and stabilize the spine.”

5. She Goes To The Beach

Nabieva likes to go to the beach. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself by the water. Nabieva captioned the post, “Running away to the land of discovery,Running away from the suffering, I’m gone, yeah. Running away from the darkness, I’m out here, yeah. Higher than all the limits. Going way beyond the noise and your feelings. When you speak all I can hear is silence. Turning back from all the pain and violence.”

How does the 34-year-old stay fit? Celebwell has the details on her latest workout and the other health habits responsible for her amazing figure.

1. She Goes Running

Danni told Runner’s World UK that she has been running since she was 8. “Running is an escape from London life. I live in Fulham and run 10km in a loop from Putney to Hammersmith along the Thames. I usually run two to three times a week but if I’m busy with work I’ll do that route once a week and then 5-8km on the other days,” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

2. She Eats Healthy During the Week

On weekdays, Danni keeps her diet ultra healthy. “Before every run I have green juice and a coffee, and then an omelette with avocado when I get back,” she told Runner’s World. “On the weekends, she cheats! “I’m a health freak Monday to Friday but I love a Domino’s Pizza on a Sunday.”

3. She Uses Fitness Apps

Girl,Uses,Fitness,AppShuttestock

Danni is a fan of fitness apps. “I use Nike Running Club's running app. If I see that friends I follow have gone out and ran 7km, I’ll go and do 9km. It’s a great motivator and I like the training programmes you can get on them,” she told Runner’s World.

4. She Does Reformer Pilates

“I do reformer pilates,” Danni told Daily Star UK. “I’m a bit of a fitness freak from Monday to Friday and then I party at the weekend.“I’m good at keeping on it Monday to Friday. I’m pretty health conscious.” Should you do Pilates? The Mayo Clinic confirms that there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

5. She Also Does Yoga

“I try to do a lot of Yoga as well. I find it helps space doing exercise,” Danni added to Daily Star UK. “It makes you feel good as well as put your head in the right place too.” There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

6. Here Is Her New Workout Routine

Strength training is also part of her routine. Here are the exercises she does in her latest video:

  1. Sumo deadlifts
  2. Barbell rows
  3. Front raises with a plate
  4. Chest press on the ground
  5. Gorilla kettlebell rows
  6. Skierg cardio
  7. Burpees

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
