In her Instagram post, Menzies is seen enjoying a Greek salad. BUPA UK states that salads are a great way to get more fiber into your diet. "Fiber is important. It can help to normalise our bowel movements, reduce cholesterol levels, control blood sugar levels, and help us feel full for longer. So, eating more salads can be a great way of boosting your fibre intake3. To increase the fibre in your salads, include wholegrains such as brown pasta, pulses such as lentils or chickpeas, and apples with the skin on."

Menzies makes sure to get enough protein in her diet. In her Instagram post, she is seen enjoying a protein shake. Piedmont states that protein is very important. "Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are comprised mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue. Red blood cells contain a protein compound that carries oxygen throughout the body. This helps supply your entire body with the nutrients it needs."

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Menzies shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Women's Fitness. She says that she does a variety of different things to stay fit.  "In my early 20s, I started running a few times a week. A quick 5K is my go-to. I love reformer Pilates – it's amazing for the core. At the moment, I'm on a bit of a mission to get as fit and strong as possible because I'm filming something in a few months that I need to be very fit for. I go to F45 Training a few times a week, and a personal trainer is helping me build strength with weights. Whenever I'm on holiday, I always try to book a hotel with a half-decent gym where I'll do a kettlebell routine, or I'll get outside for an early morning run."

She's Positive

Menzies tells Women's Fitness that makes sure to be positive about herself and her body. "Something clicked when I hit 30. I stopped telling myself how awful I was and changed all the negative thoughts to positive ones. I listened to guided meditations and practiced affirmations, telling myself what I wanted to believe and eventually I believed it. I feel great in a bikini now. I'm not perfect, but who is? I just try to keep my internal voice positive and be grateful for what I've got."
