Silva just shared a new reel on Instagram of herself enjoying time in Mykonos. She captioned it, “Got that Darcey glow in Greece!” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Darcey Silva stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
1. She’s Motivated
Silva shared some of her health secrets in an interview with InTouch. She says that she’s a lot more motivated to stay healthy. “I’ve been up and down in weight at times throughout my life and [I was] just motivated to kind of get myself back together physically — and emotionally too. It’s been a whirlwind of a journey, and I just wanted to focus on myself again and have self-love and happiness.”
2. She Does Workouts That Calm Her
Silva shared some of her favorite workouts in her InTouch interview. She says that she likes to do Pilates and take walks. “It’s really important to get that meditative time to breathe and focus on yourself and just self-love,” she explained. “Really taking care of yourself.”
3. She Changed Her Diet
Silva made sure to change her diet and lifestyle to help her get in shape. She opened up about what she changed in her InTouch interview. “I cut out certain things in my life diet-wise, less carbs and sugar and stuff like that, and just drinking more water and moving around more, exercising.”
4. She Swims
Silva spends a lot of time in the water. She likes to go to the pool to advertise her clothing line, House of Eleven. Silva shared this photo on Instagram of herself going for a dip. She captioned it, “11:11 making my wish! Manifesting mode! Mogul minded!”
5. She Gets Her Vitamin D
"One of the best (and easiest) ways to get vitamin D is by being outside. Our bodies produce vitamin D when exposed to sunlight—about 15 minutes in the sun a day is adequate if you’re fair skinned. And since Vitamin D helps your body maintain calcium and prevents brittle, thin, or misshapen bones, soaking in sun may be just what the doctor ordered," says Select Health. And: "It’s not just in your head; there’s a scientific reason being in the sunshine improves your mood. Sunshine boosts your body’s level of serotonin, which is a chemical that improves your mood and helps you stay calm and focused. Increased exposure to natural light may help ease the symptoms of seasonal affective disorder--a change in mood that typically occurs in the fall and winter months when there are fewer hours of daylight."
