DeAnna Pappas is best known for being the lead of the fourth season of The Bachelorette. On Easter weekend, she did some skateboarding with her family. Pappas shared a video of herself doing so on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Can’t take the southern out of the girl! Happy Easter…thankful to be home with my family in my favorite state of, Georgia! 🍑 And thankful to show my babies my roots. Surrounded by the people we love the most! He is Risen.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways DeAnna Pappas stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Pappas shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with People. When it comes to workouts, she likes to do a variety of different exercises. “Whether I’m able to get to the gym or not, I do a lot of cardio, whether it’s just getting my kids in the stroller and walking them around. And I’m really in love with barre classes and Pilates. I really like workout classes that help me to create long, lean muscles.”

2. She Eats Healthy

DeAnnaPappasDeAnna Pappas/Instagram

Pappas makes sure to eat healthy. She shared her typical diet with People. “I’m a pretty healthy eater and I actually really like salad! Then I’d have another bar or an apple and peanut butter for a mid-afternoon snack. We typically eat pretty clean and healthy, so for dinner we eat a lot of roasted vegetables and chicken and fish.”

3. She Accepts Herself

Pappas talked about finding acceptance with her body in her People interview. “It’s such a struggle, because I think about my own daughter, and I don’t ever want her to be consumed with how thin she is or how good she looks because at the end of the day those things aren’t important. I had two children, two vaginal births. What my body did is amazing, so at the end of the day, I have a couple of extra pounds, I’m carrying a little extra love handles on the sides of my hips, and it’s a beautiful thing.”

4. She Takes Workout Classes

Pappas likes to take workout classes. She explained why in her People interview. “I like a class in general because I feel like I push myself a little more because I’m super competitive.” Iowa State University states that group workouts have a lot of benefits. “The highest quality or type of motivation is called intrinsic motivation – you’re doing something because the behavior itself is enjoyable, satisfying or both. If you enjoy exercise and not just the positive feelings you get after you’ve worked out, you are more likely to stick with it. Exercising with other people can supply that enjoyment, even if the activity itself is difficult or otherwise not something you love. Group exercise can turn working out into a fun social activity, which could lead to you continuing to do it.”

5. She Cooks

Pappas loves to cook. She shares a lot of her favorite recipes on Instagram. In this video, she made a tomato tartlet. Pappas captioned the post, “This little beauty came to me when I bought the most gorgeous heirloom tomatoes the other day. Fresh out of the oven, it was divine! I used a Puff pastry sheet. I bought an array of different tomatoes and sliced them. Drizzled a little lemon & herb infused olive oil on the puff pastry & layered the tomatoes. I baked in my oven for about 30 mins. Once finished, I topped with crumbled goat cheese, basil ribbons, flaky sea salt, & another quick drizzle of olive oil. Quick, easy, delicious, & GORGEOUS.”

1. She Takes Workout Gear With Her

Woman,With,Fitness,Elastic,Band,On,Pink,Background,,CloseupShutterstock

Tebow shared some of her wellness tips with Us Weekly. She says that she likes to take workout equipment with her when she travels, in order to keep up her workouts. “I carry an elastic band, especially if I’m traveling. I use the band to lie on my side and do some leg lifts. Then I step on it and do some bicep curls, shoulder presses, some back exercises and side arm raises. I also use the band to do donkey kicks, jump squats, normal squats and then drag walks. And I have a jump rope that I keep if I want some extra cardio.”

2. She Eats Healthy Snacks After Working Out

Tebow makes sure to eat healthy. Especially after burning a lot of calories. She shared some of her favorite post-workout snacks with Us Weekly. “I like things that are low in sugar and natural. In the mornings before a workout, I cut up an apple and grab a Justin’s peanut butter packet — they’re great because they’re single-use and easy to grab and go. After a workout, I’ll do a half cup of black coffee from Starbucks. I like to carry a protein bar too. And I really like this brand called Life, their Hydrate powder.”

3. She Schedules Workouts

Tebow shared some of her workout and wellness tips in this blog post. She says that she schedules individual workouts for herself, which helps her stay in shape. “When I book a workout class or schedule a walk or a run with a friend, I very rarely opt out,” Tebow explains. “So, I’ve started booking appointments with myself, too. I schedule time in my diary (yes, I actually write it down) to do a few workouts a week. Whether it’s pilates, a HIIT class, or a slow walk around the block, I know when I make an appointment to workout, I rarely don’t show up, so I’ve started applying this to myself, for myself. By making a commitment with yourself, not only are you prioritizing yourself, but you’re also allowing yourself to recharge.”

4. She Takes Healthy Snacks With Her

In her blog post, Tebow revealed that she likes to pack healthy snacks with her on the go. “I keep snacks like protein bars, nuts, jerky sticks in my purse and in my car,” she says. “So I always have a healthy option. Choosing healthy snacks to munch on throughout the day helps me not overindulge on unhealthy options, as well as fuels me to stay focused and motivated throughout the day. Stock up on your favorite healthy snacks and keep them in close reach, so they are always easily accessible no matter where you are.”

5. She Tries New Skincare Products

Tebow makes sure to take care of her skin. She opened up about her process in this blog post. “I’ve always been someone who tries to take care of my skin. I’ve tried and tested so many different products to find the ones that work best for me. Although skincare is an ever-changing process (our skin changes as we age and also as seasons change) I can’t necessarily say that I’ve found the perfect products, but I’ve found a few that are my go-to brands.”

2. She Works With A Trainer

In this post on her website, Menounos revealed her secrets to working out on a regular basis. She says that she likes to wear ankle weights and move around a lot. “With such a busy schedule, it sometimes feels almost impossible to fit in any time for exercise. What I’ve always tried to do is incorporate workouts into my other tasks to make it more manageable to have an easy daily workout routine. I recently discovered these amazing leg weights called ‘Bala bangles’ and I’m in love. They are basically updated, cuter leg weights. Throughout my day to burn some extra calories, I wear my Bala Bangles and push myself to take the stairs, fit in my calf-raises or even do tricep pushes off my counter while I am cooking dinner. I know it sounds too easy or kinda silly, but hey – I'm still moving!”

5. She Does What She Can

When it comes to fitness, Menounos is all about doing what she can each day. “I also want to emphasize the importance of listening to your body,” she writes on her website post. “Just do what you can that day. If all I can do at the time is get on the treadmill and walk for 10 minutes, that’s okay. I do what I can and don’t have guilt. I have phases in life where I can do more, or phases when I do almost nothing. It’s just how it goes for me and I’m ok with that.”

No—I don’t stick to anybody’s fitness plan. Because of that, I try to be more mindful about how much and how often I’m eating, but I like to eat and that’s just what it is. I’m generally not eating junk food, though. I like to sit down to a meal. I’ll come here [to Blujeen] and have salmon, mac and cheese, and collard greens. 5. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Parris has amazing skin. She revealed some of her favorite tricks and products to Coveteur. “I absolutely cannot live without my Skinn Orchid Gel Primer. It’s the most amazing primer ever. It’s a little expensive, but you don’t need a lot. My other favorite is from the drugstore—L’Oréal Paris Infallible Setting Spray. And the Unique Face Options Special Clay Masque. Every time I’m finished using it I’m like, ‘wow, my skin is poppin’!’ So I try to do that at least once a week. I wear so much makeup [on set], so it’s important to have a great cleanser. I use Bioré Charcoal Cleanser.”

1. She Gets Herself Through Rough Times

In an interview with The Players Tribune, Collier shared her mantra for getting through rough times. “Everything is temporary. That’s the mantra I use to get myself through hard practices, and the same idea can help us get through this tough period. Eventually it’s going to end, you just have to push through. You really just have to take it a little bit at a time — if you look at the full picture, it can seem daunting. But if you just take it one day at a time and stick to your routine, it’s just way easier to handle everything.”

2. She Walks Her Dog

Labrador,Retriever,With,Leash,Is,Waiting,For,Walk.Shutterstock

Collier shared some of her fitness secrets in her interview with The Player Tribune. She says that she goes on walks with her dog. “I have my mini goldendoodle. I take her on walks around our little cul-de-sac, to get her moving. She’s getting a little chubby. She’s just a puppy, so she’s not fully house-trained. We’ve been working on that. That’s been a full-time job so far.”

4. She Has A Great Workout Playlist

One of Collier’s workout secrets? Having a great playlist. She shared some of the artists on that playlist with The Player Tribune. “I usually listen to some Drake when I train. I do the Drizzy station, or me and Alex will put on 2000s hip-hop and R & B throwbacks, get some Usher going. Usher might not be the best workout music actually, but it’s still pretty good — fun to have on any time.”

5. She’s Grateful

Collier feels very lucky and grateful for her job. She shared some of the perks of being a basketball player with Town & Style. “The freedom I have. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
