Dianne Buswell In Workout Gear Dances With Joe Sugg

The couple are still dancing after competing on "Strictly" in 2018

Dianne Buswell has been a fan-favorite pro dancer on Strictly Come Dancing. After many close calls, she finally won the coveted glitterball trophy on the most recent season with partner Chris McCausland. Dianne also recently won a BAFTA for her work on the series. However, her most memorable partnership was in season 16 with Joe Sugg, whom she began dating after the show wrapped. The couple are still dancing together, and shared a video of Joe swinging Dianne in his arms on Instagram. Dianne captioned the post, "When we get asked if we still dance together at home . Is this what they mean ??"

Dianne shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with heatworld. She says that when she's not filming Strictly, she opts for low impact exercises. "Usually, I'm dancing from 9am till 6pm," Dianne said. "But when I'm not in Strictly season, my favourite things are Pilates and yoga – for me, it's the equivalent of taking myself to a spa. I'll put nice music on and feel so soothed."

She Runs On The Treadmill

For cardio, Dianne loves running on the treadmill. "I have a Peloton treadmill at home, too, and I enjoy running on that as the instructors are so fun," she said in her heatworld interview. "I love sweating – especially that moment when your whole body feels warm and the blood is pumping around it."

She Isn't Stressing About Her Looks

Dianne opened up about her past struggles with her body image in her heatworld interview. She says that while working on cruise ships, she felt pressure to be very thin, before seeking medical help. "I used to think that I had to look a certain way to be cast in something, but that's not the case at all," Dianne explained. "Being very thin can sometimes mean you're not doing things the correct way or looking after yourself properly. It all manifested itself while I was on stage on cruise ships. I took the concept of being fit to literally represent how I thought I needed to look. It wasn't until I had a period where I became very weak and couldn't dance because I was so exhausted that I realised I needed help."

She Loves Cold Water Baths

One way Dianne recovers is by taking cold water baths. "I've become obsessed with cold water therapy and recently bought an ice bath," she told heatworld. "When I'm at home, it's a part of my morning routine, even in the cold. It's hard to get in at first, but once you're in there, it feels exhilarating. My eyes have really opened up to the benefits – when you're controlling your breathing and steadying your thoughts, it gives you resilience in the morning."

She Eats Healthy

Dianne opened up about her diet in an interview with Leicestershire Live. "With my intense scheduling, I have to look after myself and eat the right food in order to do what I do," she explained. "I want to feel good when I'm doing it, so I don't restrict what I eat, I just think about my options better. Rather than going for something that's filled with sugar or processed, I'll try and go for the more natural option."
