Divyanka Tripathi is showing off her planking skills in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the Indian actress looks incredibly strong as she gets tricked into planking with someone sitting on her. “Only if I knew what I was being tricked into!” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram caption, adding: “Core needs to be held tight.” How does the star approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. A Big Breakfast

Divyanka’s favorite meal of the day? “My breakfast because I can eat the heaviest item during this meal,” she told Pinkvilla. She starts with water and coconut, eating – usually fruit or healthy pancakes – around 10-11 am. “But I start my day with a glass of green juice since they are not high on sugar,” she added.
2. Healthy Diet
Tripathi isn’t a person who can eat whatever she wants and get away with it. “I have to really really control my diet, I don’t have a great metabolic rate,” she said. She stays away from carbs, rice, and sugar. “As soon as I have it, I pop,” she claims. “Try to control your carb intake, if you want to have carbs, have them! But have them in the afternoons since that is the best time to have them. And don’t have fruits in the night since they have sugar in them,” she says.
3. Daily Workouts
“I work out daily. I miss working out once or twice a week but I do it for my happiness. I do it for my happiness. It gives me a great adrenaline and happy hormones rush. It keeps my body agile, which is important for my work. Now, I have stopped stepping on the weight scale,” she told Pinkvilla.
4. Plant-Based Eating
Divyanka is a vegetarian and promotes plant-based eating. For lunch she has “a healthy wrap,” stuffed with paneer and vegetables. For the snack, Divyanka opts for a basic cutlet without oil, which is also a healthy option. She also sips on sugar-free soup between meals and keeps a box of cheese on hand.
5. Morning Workouts
When is the best time to workout, according to Divyanka? “Whenever you can – ideally in the morning but with erratic working hours I work out anytime!” she told the publication.
6. Cardio and Weight Training
Divyanka is a fan of “Both” cardio and weight training. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
