In a new social media post, the singer-slash-actress shows off her fantastic figure in a string bikini. “Tour diaries,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Love it!💕” commented one of her followers. “the cutest angel,” added another. How does the star approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.

Fitness and Health

Dove is a “fitness and health junkie,” she told Women’s Health. She stays in shape with a weekly cardio routine, body-weight strength training, and a mix of Pilates, barre, and cycling classes. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and build lean muscle mass, and increase calorie burn. Strength training may also help you:

Breakfast

Dove doesn’t skip breakfast. She discussed her diet to Delish, revealing that some of her favorite breakfast foods are avocado toast with salmon and a poached egg on top, and flax seed oatmeal with chia seeds. A protein-rich breakfast is a great way to fuel your body for success. According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW), but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

“Really Clean” Eating

Dove eats clean. For lunch, she will have salmon with vegetables, followed by chicken or fish with vegetables for dinner. “I tend to eat really clean because I feel better when I do,” she told Delish. Her guilty pleasure? “I really like British food. It’s wholesome. I need hearty, carb-y food. I don’t like sugar very much, but I like savory things like that.”

No Red Meat

Dove tries to avoid red meat. “I just got to the point where if I eat red meat, my mood and energy plummet. I’ve just reached a weird moral point with it,” she told Delish. Her substitute? A vegan burger with hummus on top.

Healthy Baking

Cameron loves baking, focusing on whipping up secretly healthy food.  “I’m a terrible person. I like to trick people into eating something and then later tell them it’s healthy. Because otherwise, people are like, ‘this tastes healthy,'” she told Delish. “You have to make a gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free lemon bar, not tell anyone there’s anything different about it, and when they all love it, you tell them.”
