No Meat

Dylan has been a vegetarian for several years. "It was Thanksgiving. I asked my mom what turkey was made out of; the answer was revelatory. I was vegetarian from then on out. Three years ago, I cut out all animal products entirely, for health and moral concerns," she told Vegetarian Times in 2020. She even has a way of avoiding meat via kissing. "My boyfriend is omnivorous, but I don't kiss him immediately after he eats a burger, so it's fine."

Hempseed

"Hempseed," is one Dylan's favorite things to eat. "I toast a piece of good bread, put some avocado slices on it, and then lemon juice and hempseeds. Mmm," she told Vegetarian Times.

Accepting Stress

Vulture once asked Dyland how she decompresses from the stress when she is working. "I don't know. I think about it all the time. I don't know how people can do that. I don't know how you can be in your early 20s and building a career and then be like [does funny dumb-person voice], 'Oh, I can switch off, time for family!' I'm trying really hard. I keep waking up at four in the morning, thinking of things. I'm very stressed out, but I feel like I'm at a time in my life where that's fine," she confessed.

Not Taking Herself Seriously

"I have really low self-esteem, so taking myself seriously is not an option," Dylan added to Vulture. "But I take my work seriously for no other reason than it makes me feel fulfilled. I don't think I'm changing anything. I don't think I matter to anyone but myself. But I feel good when I'm really sinking into a role. That's the end of it. I don't think acting matters. I could be replaced with someone else tomorrow."

Social Media Detoxes

Dylan takes breaks from social media. "I stayed in a tent in the desert this summer and within the first day of no cell reception i found myself unable to stay awake without constant stimulation at all times! Then i started having what might have been an actual experience of happiness! Then I came back and immediately resumed staring at my phone while people are talking to me and wondering why I feel so bad all the time!" she joked in a post.
