Dua Lipa In Bikini Top Shares “Sunny Hill Festival Night 1”

The singer wore a mermaid-inspired sparkly look.

Dua Lipa played “Mermaid Barbie” in the movie, Barbie, and one of her recent looks proved why. Dua recently performed at the Sunny Hill Festival, and wore a sparkly shell bikini top and white skirt. She shared highlights from the night on Instagram. Dua captioned it, “SUNNY HILL FESTIVAL NIGHT ONE 🇽🇰❤️ This festival is something my family and I created with so much love for our city PRISHTINA and to see it come to life like this is beyond anything I could’ve dreamed of.” Here are 5 ways Dua Lipa keeps herself in shape.

She Warms Up

Dua makes sure to keep herself in shape. Her trainer, Peter MacIver, shared some of the singer’s workout secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. He says that he made sure that Dua stretched before doing any hard, intense exercises. “We’d spend 10 minutes before every session to make sure her joints and muscles were ready.”

She Takes Naps

Dua has a busy schedule, which can be draining. For this reason, Peter recommended that she take regular naps, which not only keeps her more alert, but helps with her training. “For a busy individual like Dua, I suggested naps to help her body recover,” Peter told Women’s Health. “If you train too much, your body won’t work, so rest is a non-negotiable.”

She Runs

Dua likes to run to keep herself in shape. Peter tells Women’s Health that he had Dua run in small amounts, so she could later run longer. “We overcame it by tackling one hill at a time. So instead of saying we’re running up five (which is typical with all of my clients), we’d do one at a time, and she managed it in the end.”

She’s Consistent With Wellness

Dua makes sure to be consistent with her wellness routine. “I’ve become better at taking care of myself and working out and dancing,” she tells British Vogue. “I feel the most confident I’ve ever felt. I feel very empowered and strong in my body. I feel good when I’m sharing my energy with people on stage. There’s just so much of that that makes me really proud of my body and the way it holds me.”

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Dua does a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. She shared her favorites with Refinery29. “Whether it’s on Zoom, doing a workout with my friend Ella in L.A. who leads a kickass workout class called Sculpt With Ella, or with my best friend Bunny who comes over to train me on days when I’m feeling super lazy and need someone to get me motivated, getting physical really starts my day off right. I also love to do yoga, Pilates, or strength training. I like to leave my cardio workout to dancing.”
