Elle Macpherson Proves She’s Ageless At ELLE Style Awards

Elle Macpherson is one of the most legendary supermodels of all time. After decades in the industry, she’s still looking amazing, and proved it at the ELLE Style Awards. Elle was one of the magazine’s honorees that night. She wore an all-black outfit, which included a lace top that showed off her figure. In an Instagram post caption, Elle talked about her appreciation for the magazine. “To be named a Fashion and Beauty Muse by a magazine that has not only shaped the industry but also shaped so much of my own journey… it’s truly humbling. I’ve had the privilege of working with ELLE over many years appearing on covers, in fashion stories, and collaborating with so many talented creatives behind the scenes. In many ways, ELLE has been a home for me in this ever-evolving world of style and self expression.”
She Worked With A Nutritionist
Elle talked about how her wellness journey has changed as she’s gotten older to Get The Gloss. She says that she sought out help from a nutritionist to help her eat better. “At a loss as to how to feel better, I went to see nutritionist Dr. Simone Laubscher PhD at her London clinic. She explained to me that I was malnourished, acidic and inflamed. She described to me the importance of an anti-inflammatory body. She then created a potent nutritional greens protocol for me.”
She Makes Smart Choices
When it comes to her diet, Elle doesn’t have a specific plan. She instead focuses on making smart choices. “I don’t condone skipping meals or doing anything that harms your body in any way, I do advocate making wise, nutritious, self-caring choices,” she said to Get The Gloss. “Given my career, I can’t deny that weight was, and is, important in my line of work, but even then, it’s just one part of the picture. It’s so individual – it is not a one-size-fits-all issue. And just because a protocol works for me, does not mean it works for everyone.”
She Works Out When She Can
When it comes to her fitness routine, Elle doesn’t pressure herself to get a workout in. “I am a lot less intense about my fitness routine,” she told Get The Gloss. “In fact, I don’t have a fixed routine at all. I swim when I can, ride my bike and walk. I was recently in Tokyo and walked everywhere for hours, exploring, discovering and in total awe of the magic there. It’s a great way to get around and get to know where you are and see things you’re never usually see if driving.”
She Juices
Elle shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with Vogue. She says that she likes to make juices each day. “Since I’ve started juicing and taking our Super Elixir bioavailable super greens, my skin glows, my brown spots have faded, the whites of my eyes are clear, and my tongue is no longer coated.”
She Loves Salads
Elle loves eating salads for lunch. She shared one of her favorites in her Vogue interview. “I have a big raw salad of kale, spinach, sprouts, cucumber, cabbage, avocado, coriander, and pumpkin and sunflower seeds. It’s nourishing, satisfying and bursting with nutrients. I drench it in premium olive oil—good fats are important to my wellbeing.”
