Ellie Goulding is an extremely successful singer. She’s known for her songs like “Lights”, “Love Me Like You Do”, “Anything Could Happen”, and “On My Mind.” Goulding shared some new photos on Instagram this week. In them, she wades in the water, goes on a hike, and picks flowers. Goulding wrote in the post’s caption, “Nature Heals.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Ellie Goulding stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Runs

Goulding shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with The Cut. She says that she likes to run in the morning. “My morning routine will be some kind of workout, whether it’s Barry’s, yoga, or even a run outside. I go between New York and London so there’s always interesting runs to do. At the moment I’m loving running to Goldie’s ‘I Adore You.’ I’m such a big fan of old-school U.K. drum and bass. I usually use the Apple/Nike watch to track my runs.”

2. She Believes In Balance

Goulding tells The Cut that balance is an important part of her wellness routine. “I’m all about balance — in my life, my fitness regime, and my diet,” she said. “I’m of the mind-set that you can take care of yourself without going too overboard. While I definitely care about what I put in my body for instance, I do really love sweet things.”

3. She Makes Smoothies

Green,SmoothieShutterstock

Goulding loves to make smoothies for breakfast. She shared her smoothie recipe in her interview with The Cut. “I’m not really a massive breakfast person but if I do it, I’ll go for something like fruit or a smoothie. I’ll shove a bunch of things in a NutriBullet — kale, cucumber, water. I try and have a smoothie every day, it’s really filling with protein powder. I love using Vega, because it is vegan and tastes fantastic, and maca powder. Spirulina doesn’t taste great but can easily be masked by a banana and some almond butter. I try to get my greens in very quickly, all in one go. As soon as I got into making smoothies I realized how many different things you could add to boost them.”

4. She Does Yoga

Goulding loves to practice yoga to stay in shape. She tells The Cut, “There is a brilliant online yoga school called YogaGlo. For a monthly subscription you can take any class and you can choose the difficulty level and the duration. It’s perfect for someone always on the move.”

5. She Does HIIT

Ellie.GouldingEllie Goulding/Instagram

Goulding shared some of her exercise secrets in an interview with Shape. She says that she does a lot of high-intensity interval training. “[HIIT is] by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I come out of there feeling like something big just happened to my body, and I’m completely drained. Of all the workouts I've tried, this one has been the best for me.”

Zoë Kravitz is an actress and singer best known for her role as Catwoman in The Batman, and her role as Bonnie Carlson on Big Little Lies. Soon, however, you'll know her as a big-time director—her first film, Blink Twice, starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat, comes out August 23. Kravitz recently shared a photo of herself in two-piece workout gear on Instagram. She received praise in her comments section. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Zoë Kravitz stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Worked With A Trainer

Lenny Kravitz Honored with Star on The Hollywood Walk of FameVariety/Getty Images

To play Catwoman, Kravitz worked with trainer Harley Pasternak. He shared with Men’s Health that they worked out each filming day. "We would work out five days a week, because they film five days a week," Pasternak said. "And we'd work out during a typical 30-minute lunch break, but it was usually 25 with them. Each workout starts with cardio warmup and then we do circuits of upper body and lower body, then abs and then a cardio cooldown. All in 25 minutes."

2. She Makes Wellness A Priority

Kravitz tells Vogue that she makes sure to make wellness a priority. “I try and drink a lot of water, and I think it’s all about balance. I think it’s about joy, happiness and laughter because those really effect the way you look and feel. I also love to steam—I love to sweat things out and I think it’s good to keep the body moving.”

3. She Does Cleanses

Kravitz revealed to Vogue that she does a cleanse each year with her mother. “Every year, my mom and I try and do the Dr. Schultz 30-Day Detox together. It’s a 30-day cleanse that focuses on all your different organs, so your bowel, your liver, your kidneys, your gallbladder and the bowel again. It’s just a nice thing to reset your body every year. If you don’t do that cleanse, take a week to eat raw and natural foods as a way to let your body relax because it’s constantly working to process everything that we’re putting in it. It’s like giving your gut a vacation.”

4. She Uses The Elliptical

Kravitz shared her daily routine with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she likes to use the elliptical at the gym. “I try to work out when I first get up. Otherwise I'll go late at night, like 10 P.M. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood. My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good.”

5. She Uses Steam Rooms

After working out, Kravitz tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to go in a steam room. “I also love steam rooms, because it helps get all the toxins out and rejuvenate your body. And I do stretches and sit-ups at home, like leg exercises and stuff. I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point.”

British singer Ellie Goulding entered 2024 fighting fit and ready for action. Goulding, 37, shared a video of herself sparring with trainer Ruth Raper, dressed in black Adidas shorts and a black tank top for her boxing workout. “No cap. Thank you @ruth_london_90 🤙🏼🙃,” she captioned the post. “Well done girl,” Raper commented. Goulding’s relationship with wellness has changed over the years—here’s how she stays fit, happy, and full of energy.

1. Exercise and Smoothies

Goulding starts her day with a good workout before making a green smoothie. “My morning routine will be some kind of workout, whether it’s Barry’s [Bootcamp], yoga, or even a run outside,” she told The Cut. “I go between New York and London so there’s always interesting runs to do. At the moment I’m loving running to Goldie’s I Adore You. I’m such a big fan of old-school U.K. drum and bass. I usually use the Apple/Nike watch to track my runs. I love using Vega, because it is vegan and tastes fantastic, and maca powder. Spirulina doesn’t taste great but can easily be masked by a banana and some almond butter.”

2. Aspiring Vegan

Baked,Sweet,Potato,Wedges,Salad,With,Cucumber,,Avocado,And,CreamyShutterstock

Goulding calls herself an “aspiring vegan”. “It’s challenging, but not impossible,” she told Shape. “You just have to eat or drink a lot of greens. I make green juice for myself almost every day. I put in things like bananas, avocado, spinach, broccoli, whatever's in my fridge, really. Sweet-potato fries and salad are my absolute favorites. They make the perfect meal. I eat a lot of quinoa and nuts, too, but I also love eating chips. It’s actually easy to be a bad vegan because a lot of junk foods are vegan!”

3. Yoga and Treadmill Workouts

Goulding loves both low-intensity and high-energy workouts. “There is a brilliant online yoga school called YogaGlo. For a monthly subscription you can take any class and you can choose the difficulty level and the duration. It’s perfect for someone always on the move,” she told The Cut. “Barry’s is so good. Especially if you start on the treadmill you have no choice but to get right into it. Your heart rate is up within a couple of minutes. Once your heart rate is up, it’s natural to be in the zone. I think if your heart rate is up, it’s connected to your brain in an animalistic sense — your brain is telling you that you’re ready to fight, you’re ready to go.”

4. Fitness Tips

Goulding knows when her body needs more rest and recovery. “[I] slowed down to the extent that I sometimes ‘did nothing’, which also included reading a book (which is of course ‘doing something’, but you get my point!),” she wrote in her book Fitter. Calmer. Stronger. “If I was feeling stressed, I would swap a run for a gentle yoga session. If I felt overwhelmed, I would go for a gentle jog in a park, focusing on breathing and keeping my pace slow. Only when I felt well rested, had eaten properly and felt like I had the necessary reserves of energy would I allow myself to go all out with a fast run or HIIT session.”

5. Loving Fitness Again

Goulding went from overexercising to developing a more kind and nurturing relationship with fitness. “It was obvious from looking around that it was possible to have a healthy relationship with diet and fitness, and in fact these things could underpin a happy and productive life,” she wrote in her book Fitter. Calmer. Stronger. “As I began to slow down, even occasionally doing nothing (a state which I now cherish), I became determined that I would find a way of balancing all of this so that healthy living was truly healthy and where my physical and mental health could support my life without completely defining it.”

Goulding has a busy schedule, which means she has to do things to keep her energy up. She tells The Cut that she turns to juices and natural sugars to do so. “In the studio, I’ll have juices occasionally in the morning and try to stay healthy because you’re pretty much sitting down all day. The sugar content in juice is high, but I still think it is important to drink juices [rather than] eating refined sugar. The goodness is worth the sugar bloat!"

Goulding isn’t the biggest fan of heavy carbs like pasta. She revealed on the Table Manners Podcast that she tries to avoid them for wellness reasons, not just for weight-loss reasons. "When I eat carbs - it's not just a vanity thing - I genuinely don't feel great when I have them. I feel like I'm someone who's naturally quite active. When I have big bowls of pasta and things like that I do feel like I've eaten a blanket or something really heavy."

Ellie Goulding is sharing some “random thoughts” on her birthday, in her swimsuit! This week, the British singer took to social media to show off her washboard abs and offer some insight into her head. “Slightly delayed post but do allow me a birthday shot in quite good lighting. Some random thoughts today now I’m another year older,” she wrote. “Staying in the glow of everything I’ve accomplished (including the teeny things like getting out of bed) and not constantly downplaying things to myself to exhaustion. Accepting it’s ok to be proud of yourself.” She also revealed a few of her top health habits. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 7 ways Ellie Goulding stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Was Addicted to Exercise

The Sun's "Who Cares Wins" Awards 2022Karwai Tang/Instagram

In her book, Fitter. Calmer. Stronger, Ellie reveals that she became dangerously addicted to exercise. "I wasn’t just super-fit but running myself into the ground," she writes. First, exercise helped her treat anxiety. “As I began to recover from my panic attacks, fitness became my sanctuary,” she said. However, she took it too far. “It seemed all I could think about was when my next workout was going to be. I didn’t realise it at the time, but I was clearly using exercise as a crutch. I couldn’t control many things around me, but I could control how much I exercised. Exercising too much led me to start eating poorly as well. Rather than seeing food as fuel and making wise decisions, I’d eat rubbish and think I could just burn off the calories (rather than thinking how I was going to use them). I didn’t see the value of food or even consider how my eating could benefit my training or help me to train better.” She ended up getting help, and now has a healthier relationship with fitness.

2. She Loves HIIT Workouts

2022 American Music Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Ellie loves high intensity interval training. “I’ll run to Faisal’s class (at Barry’s Bootcamp) in the morning. It’s only about 25 minutes from home and it gets my heart rate up enough to go in and be ready because it’s quite tough,” she told Women’s Health UK. “I’m more of a burst girl than sustained. I like it when the treadmills on dynamic and I do sprints. I prefer using my own body as weight, so press-ups, mountain climbers and burpees.”

3. She Cut Carbs From Her Diet

Ellie told Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast that she avoids carbs. "I think the last time I had pasta was on my honeymoon, which was last year in September. I can't remember the last time I ate bread either, honestly," she confessed. "When I eat carbs - it's not just a vanity thing - I genuinely don't feel great when I have them. I feel like I'm someone who's naturally quite active. When I have big bowls of pasta and things like that I do feel like I've eaten a blanket or something really heavy."

4. She Eats Veganish

The Earthshot Prize 2022 - Green Carpet ArrivalsGetty Images

Ellie, a one time vegan, views food as fuel. "I eat a lot of things for their nutritional value. The things I love for my taste are sweet things," she said on the podcast. She opted to add dairy back into her diet, but doesn’t consume red meat. "I'm all about dairy….I'm not mad about coconut yogurt and all those dairy-free alternatives,” she added. "In the morning, I'll have a messy bowl which is yogurt with lots of goji berries and nuts and I love prunes and dates."

5. She Does a 40-Hour Fast Every Week

“I built my way up to 40-hour fasts over time (started with 12),” Ellie told The Mirror. “It helps blood sugar control and helps fight inflammation – the mother of ALL health problems.” She claims she does it “very safely by having a purposefully nutritious food day the day before and after,” she added. “On the fast day, I drink high-grade electrolytes and a LOT of water,” plus tea and coffee. “Fasting is safe and beneficial unless you are diabetic or have serious health issues,” she continued, adding it helps give her “digestive system a break.”

6. She Does Yoga

In her latest Instagram post, Goulding reveals that yoga helps her treat anxiety. “I think ashwagandha has genuinely proven to be most effective for stress,” she states. It’s also a great method of fitness, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

7. She Prioritizes Sleep

Another self-care method Ellie swears by? “Sleep is crucial too. Lots of sleep,” she writes in the post. She also revealed that she takes “magnesium before bed.” "You need magnesium for many tasks. It's involved in more than 300 chemical reactions in the body. Muscles need this mineral to contract; nerves need it to send and receive messages. It keeps your heart beating steadily and your immune system strong. Most people can get enough magnesium by eating foods such as green leafy vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, and fish," says Harvard Health.

Kriti Sanon knows that staying fit doesn’t have to feel like a chore. The Bollywood star recently shared a video on Instagram rocking two-piece workout gear, proving that her fitness philosophy is all about keeping things fun and challenging. From TRX routines to hip thrusts, Sanon mixes up her workouts to stay motivated and strong. “It’s gotta be fun,” she says—and judging by her energy in the gym, she’s clearly found the perfect balance. Here’s how Sanon keeps herself in top shape with a variety of exercises that work both body and mind.

She Does TRX

Sanon does a lot of things to keep herself in shape. She is seen using TRX cables in her Instagram video. NIFS states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “If you have ever taken a class or done some of even the most basic exercises, you quickly see that core activation is one of the most important aspects. The workouts are simple yet very challenging, and you can easily complete a total-body workout only using one piece of equipment in 20 minutes.”

Strength Training

Sanon is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in her Instagram video. Strength training has a lot of health benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

Sanon is seen doing hip thrusts with a shoulder press in her Instagram video. Hip thrusts have a lot of benefits. Gymless says, “Hip thrusts are a controlled and powerful movement, mainly focusing on the glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and core. This exercise is vital for developing a stronger posterior chain, contributing to improved athletic performance, alleviating lower back pain, and enhancing overall physique. Considering that about 65 million Americans experience some form of back pain, hip thrusts are a great exercise to include in your routine.”

She Does Russian Twists

Kriti Sanon does Russian twists

Another exercise that Sanon is seen doing in her Instagram video is Russian twists with a weight. Gymless says that this exercise is very beneficial. “Russian Twists are a great exercise that develops all parts of your core, especially the obliques, it also targets the shoulders and hips. This exercise involves rotating your torso from side-to-side while maintaining a sit up position with your feet off the ground. This rotational movement often occurs in sports, which makes it a popular exercise amongst athletes. It is speculated that this was developed during the Cold War by the former Soviet Union as a training exercise for the Russian Soldiers.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Sanon also shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen using a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness reports that stationary bike workouts have a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

Alice De Bortoli is seen cooking

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

Alice De Bortoli/Instagram

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
