Ellie Goulding Shares Swimsuit Photo Saying "Keep Going"

See how she keeps fit.

Singer Ellie Goulding just shared some highlights on her Instagram. In them, she is seen on a hike, at the beach, and on stage. In one photo, she is seen jumping into the ocean. Goulding captioned the post, "I don't know who needs to hear this, but keep going." How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Ellie Goulding stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

She Lets Her Feelings Determine Her Workout

In her book Fitter, Calmer, Stronger, Goulding revealed that she struggled with over-exercising in the past. She says that she now does workouts based on how she feels. "If I was feeling stressed, I would swap a run for a gentle yoga session. If I felt overwhelmed, I would go for a gentle jog in a park, focusing on breathing and keeping my pace slow. Only when I felt well rested, had eaten properly and felt like I had the necessary reserves of energy would I allow myself to go all out with a fast run or HIIT session."

She's In Tune With Her Feelings

Goulding is in tune with her feelings. She advised others to do the same in her book. "Remember that your feelings matter. It doesn't matter what you have – money, fame, family, a new baby, a great job. If you feel sad, those feelings are real and valid, so listen to them."

She Believes In Therapy

Goulding writes in her book that she's a believer in therapy. "Seek help if you need it. There is no shame in seeing a therapist if you feel your problems are spiralling and becoming too much for you to process. Friends and family are great sounding boards but I like the fact that a therapist is impartial and separate from everything else going on in my life."

She Loves HIIT

Goulding shared some of her diet and exercise secrets in an interview with People. She says that she loves high-intensity interval training. "[HIIT is] by far the hardest thing I've ever done. I come out of there feeling like something big just happened to my body, and I'm completely drained. Of all the workouts I've tried, this one has been the best for me."

She Eats Mostly Vegan

Goulding tells People that she eats a mostly vegan diet. "It's challenging, but not impossible. You just have to eat or drink a lot of greens. I make green juice for myself almost every day. I put in things like bananas, avocado, spinach, broccoli whatever's in my fridge, really. Sweet-potato fries and salad are my absolute favorites. They make the perfect meal. I eat a lot of quinoa and nuts, too, but I also love eating chips. It's actually easy to be a bad vegan because a lot of junk foods are vegan!"
