Ellie Hoad is a fitness expert and influencer. She has her own app ELLE-EVATE, YouTube channel, and fitness Instagram. She recently became known for sharing her running journey on Instagram. Hoad revealed in a recent post that she is training for a marathon, captioning it, ā€œHow did I even get here šŸ˜‚šŸ˜­ a year ago I HATED running. I couldnā€™t even run 2k without feeling like I was going to pass out šŸ˜… and here we are!! Iā€™ve now completed the first week of my half marathon training block and I canā€™t wait to take you along on my journey šŸ„¹ā˜ŗļø any tips, let me know!!ā€


She Runs

Hoad likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this post on Instagram in October of herself after a marathon. Hoad captioned it, ā€œI did it!!! New 10k pb of 58 mins šŸ„¹šŸ’– right on target!! Canā€™t believe Iā€™ve managed to shave off 7 mins since May. Feeling so proud of myself! Itā€™s so crazy that before January I used to tell myself I wasnā€™t a runner or could never be šŸ˜‚šŸ˜…Thank you so much to my run coach @bw.performance for helping me get here! Also to my sister & @kierannicholls_ for being top race day supporters šŸ¤ā€

She Cooks

Hoad shares a lot of her favorite recipes on Instagram. In this video, she makes a healthy chicken dish. Hoad captioned it, ā€œPesto stuffed chicken & creamy mash šŸ¤¤ this was low cal, high protein and ready in 20 minutes. Download my app @ell_evateapp for more quick and easy recipes! 408 kcal for the whole plate (24g C, 10.2g F, 52g P). Ingredients for 2: 2 x 180g chicken breasts seasoned with chicken seasoning, salt, pepper and paprika. 20g low fat pesto. Tomatoes. 60g reduced fat mozzarella. Mash: 300g potatoes boiled until soft then whisk up with 10g butter and 50ml milk until smooth. Method: 1. Season chicken breast with chicken seasoning, salt, pepper and paprika then cut a pocket 2. Stuff with pesto, tomatoā€™s and mozzarella and bake in the air fryer for 20 mins at 180 degrees C 3. Meanwhile peel and boil the potatoes until soft then drain and whisk together with the butter and milk until creamy. Season well! 4. Serve with broccoli & enjoy!ā€

She Meal Preps

One way Hoad eats healthy is by meal prepping. She shared some of the meals she prepared in this Instagram post. Hoad captioned it, ā€œA WEEK OF HEALTHY MEAL PREP šŸ½ļø If you struggle to stay on track or need quick and easy meals for work, then I have you covered! MEAL 1: chocolate chip protein pancakes. MEAL 2: sausage casserole & rice. MEAL 3: sesame crusted salmon & pesto smashed potatoes. All of these recipes are around 500 calories and helped me to transform my body! Check out my YouTube for a step by step tutorial on how to make them (linked in story). I like to meal prep for 4 days which saves, time, money and stress šŸ˜‡ā€

She Doesnā€™t Pressure Herself When It Comes To Weight

Hoad doesnā€™t put pressure on herself to stay a certain weight. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. ā€œI gained 1kg in under a week but I reallyā€¦ā€¦ donā€™t care šŸ˜‚Holidays are for ENJOYING & making MEMORIES šŸ„³āœØšŸ’—Your scale weight can change in a day, you canā€™t make those memories again. So donā€™t step on the scales and have regrets. Your scale weight will drop once you get back to your normal routine & memories will last forever šŸ„°Share this with someone who needs to see this!!ā€

She Does Workouts She Enjoys

Hoad revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that she makes sure to do workouts she enjoys. ā€œHow to make 2025 YOUR year šŸ„¹šŸ¤If youā€™re starting your fitness journey, the first thing to note is: if something feels hard and unenjoyable, itā€™s not going to work for you.
