Emeraude Toubia is an actress and clothing designer. She is known for her roles in Shadowhunters and With Love. In July, Toubia went on a vacation to Koh Tao. She shared some beach photos at the time on Instagram. In them, she enjoyed time in the water, while wearing a white swimsuit and flower necklace. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Emeraude Toubia stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Paddleboards

As you can see from her Instagram post, Toubia spends a lot of time at the beach. And swimming isn’t the only thing she does at the beach. She also loves to go paddleboarding. Toubia shared these photos on Instagram of herself paddleboarding in Greece. ACE Fitness states that paddleboarding has a lot of benefits. “The mental and physical benefits of being outside and spending time in nature are numerous, from increased concentration and mindfulness to decreased stress. Researchers at the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan concluded that spending 20 minutes outside can reduce levels of cortisol—the body’s main stress-response hormone—by 21%.”

2. She Swims

As you can see from her recent post, Toubia swims to help keep herself in shape. According to LifeBridgeHealth, swimming has a lot of benefits. “As a form of exercise, swimming offers a host of physical benefits for participants at any level. On the whole, regular swimmers stand to increase their lung capacity, increase their strength, reduce wear and tear on their joints, and much more. One of swimming's most fundamental benefits is its use of the entire body.”

3. She Rides Horses

Toubia likes to ride horses to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself riding in the hills of Malibu. Toubia captioned the post, “Another day in paradise.” The American Heart Association states that riding has a lot of benefits. “One of the benefits of regular exercise is lowered blood pressure; horseback riding is exercise. Lower blood pressure can reduce the risk of heart disease. Plus just being around animals has been shown to do that as well.”

4. She Has A Dog

Toubia has a dog, whom she prominently features on Instagram, and she even made an Instagram account for her pup. She shared these photos of her pup, captioning them, “To my forever favorite view. My favorite morning kisses. My unconditional. Happy birthday @hellogoldiee.” Harvard Health reports that having a dog has a lot of benefits. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

5. She Dances

Toubia likes to dance to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself dancing with a friend. The Cleveland Clinic states that dancing has a lot of benefits. “Dancing can also help improve your strength, mobility, flexibility and balance. For example, dance may require a person to stand on one leg and reach. Another benefit to dance is that you don’t actually feel like you’re working out the way you would at the gym, and that can be enticing for many. Beyond the physical, dancing can be a way to socialize with others and make you feel better, too.”
