Emily shared some of her favorite workouts in an interview with InStyle, as reported by ELLE Australia. She says that she loves going for hikes to keep herself in shape. “I am not a big gym person,” Emily admits. “I really like being outside and doing yoga, so I do a lot of hiking in L.A.”

She Loves Yoga

Emily also loves to practice yoga. She tells InStyle, as reported by ELLE Australia, “I have a yoga studio really close to my house that I go to like once a week.” According to research from Northwestern Medicine, yoga has a lot of benefits. “Research shows that long-term yoga practice improves ambulatory systolic blood pressure and therefore is a lifestyle change that can help reduce hypertension.”

She Eats Healthily

Emily talked about some of her favorite foods in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she makes sure to eat healthy, even when she’s tempted by indulgences. “Lunch is usually a salad or a sandwich. If I’m on set, I’ll have catering, but I’m well behaved with that stuff. It’s easy to go crazy—they know how to feed you.”

She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Emily is known for her amazing chocolate brown locks, and she makes sure to take care of them. She shared some of her haircare secrets in her interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I shower and wash my hair, usually with a basic L’Oréal shampoo; I’m more picky about conditioners because my hair’s really fine and breaks easily.”

She Eats An Iron-Rich Diet

When it comes to her diet, Emily makes sure to eat enough iron. For her, that means eating meat. “You know, I’m a carnivore,” Emily says to ELLE Magazine. “I really like to eat meat. I crave iron, so I am definitely not the kind of person who you will find eating a salad. I like to keep it really balanced to give my body energy and also be healthy.”
