Australian fitness influencer Emily Skye isn’t afraid to get a little silly in her social media posts. Skye, 39, shared a video of herself wearing green shorts and a white sports bra, working out with fiancé Declan Redmond. “Dec & I trained in our garage together today. It’s been 1 week of being consistent with my training & nutritious diet & I’m already feeling the difference! My FIT App ROCKS! 🙌🏼😃 Which is it, “when couples train together, they:,” she captioned the post, inviting followers to complete her sentence. Skye is open and honest about her fitness journey, making her a great authority on all things wellness. Here’s what her training routine looks like.

1. Breathing Work

Unrecognized,Woman,Wearing,Sports,Clothes,Practicing,Yoga,At,Home,AndShutterstock

Skye focuses on her mental health as well as physical. “I really like to focus on breath work and it’s something that I’ve been doing for a while and has worked wonders for me,” she told Authority Magazine. “It’s all about focusing on deep slow diaphragmatic breaths and slow controlled exhales. If I begin to start feeling a little stressed and overwhelmed this is my go-to method to help me through it.”

2. Lifting Weights

Skye no longer does grueling cardio sessions. “I love what lifting weights does for me mentally and physically,” she told DuJour. “When I first started going to the gym several years ago I thought that in order to get “toned” I had to do hours of cardio. I was SO wrong luckily as I personally find long cardio sessions boring haha! I now get in the gym, do either a strength session or HIIT session involving weight lifting or sprint intervals and my gym session usually only goes for 20-45 mins.”

3. Self-Care

Emily.SkyeEmily Skye/Instagram

Skye says pampering herself is self-care. “It really could be anything from getting your hair done to getting your nails done,” she told Authority Magazine. “There are many ways you can physically treat yourself to help you feel better about yourself. While there’s tangible things you can do for yourself, I feel that the mental aspect of feeling beautiful is equally, if not more important.”

4. Brene Brown

Skye recommends Brene Brown for anyone in need of inspiration. “Brene Brown’s words have had a really big impact on me,” she told Authority Magazine. “To this day, if I feel the need for a bit of a pick-me-up, I will go and watch her Ted Talks, listen to her audio books or watch her various YouTube videos. I would strongly advise anyone who feels a little lost and unhappy to go search her workout. It’s some of the best self-development material and advice you’ll ever hear.”

5. Make It Fun

Skye has good advice for people struggling with their fitness routine. “I always tell people to find exercise that they enjoy and mix it up,” she told DuJour. “If you’re feeling bored, you’re not motivated to train or you’ve reached a plateau then do something different. It can be anything that gets you moving and gets your heart rate up. If you hate going to the gym - don’t! Get outdoors and play a sport, go for a bike ride, run, hike, rock climbing, swimming, rollerblading - anything!”

',Be,Authentic,',Word,Made,Of,Square,Letter,WordShutterstock

3. Emily Prioritizes Self-Care

Emily prioritizes self-care "For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive. When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way," she told InStyle.

4. Emily Walks

Emily also enjoys outdoor exercise. “I go on long walks and hikes with my girlfriends,” she told the New York Times. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. Women,Group,On,Sport,Trampoline,,Fitness,WorkoutShutterstock

I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” she continues. “You just feel like you're, you know, Superwoman really pushing herself. You end up working harder and it's a better, more intense workout, without even noticing.”

6. Emily Goes to Therapy

Emily recently revealed on the “High Low” podcast that she is a fan of thearpy. “I’ve been in therapy for quite a long time,” she said. “For me, it was really in therapy where I learned to be independent and get to the root of my fear of abandonment.”

I feel my best. But sometimes it’s hard to sustain that lifestyle. You know it’s tricky for anybody to stay totally clean,” she told CNBC Make It.

London,,United,Kingdom,-,July,20,,2022:,Gigi,Hadid,AttendsShutterstock

It’s just something that I’ve had to deal with over the years. Sometimes it’s better than other times,” she told Elle. “One of the boundaries I have is that I have to tell my team when I need rest. They’ve always been understanding and encouraging of that, and then besides that, I think I’ve just learned to make it work for me, and what helps me get through the day and do my best.”

14. Dua Lipa Does Yoga

London,,United,Kingdom,-,November,29,,2021:,Dua,Lipa,ArrivesShutterstock

15. Bella Hadid Eats for Her “Own Biology”

In high school, my relationship with food came from not having control, but food was the one thing I could control. So I would micromanage and make schedules for food, but it's more important to check what's good for your body and your own biology,” Bella confessed to Harper’s Bazaar. Her diet is mostly healthy but she does allow herself to indulge. “My favorite go-to snack, I eat pizza, at least once a day. It's always like a go-to cuz it always, you know, it tastes good every time,” she added to ID. “There's no bad pizza. Also seaweed snacks randomly. Oh, sour Patch Kids and Rose Champagne if i’m feeling frisky.”

Louise Redknapp is letting fans see what her live performance dance rehearsals look like. Redknapp, 49, shared a video of herself wearing black pants and a white shirt, going through a routine with her team. “A little look behind the scenes at Mighty Hoopla rehearsals 🤍 been having so much fun putting this show together for you! See you at 6.40pm this Sunday xxx,” she captioned the post. “How does she still look soooo amazing 😍🔥,” a fan commented. Here’s how the British singer stays fit, happy, and full of energy.

1. She Loves Pilates

Redknapp enjoys Pilates workouts on the reformer machine. "I love Pilates on the tower or on the reformer just because it's quick and it feels like a proper workout,” she told HELLO!. “One of my best friends is a pilates instructor so get through the whole hour. I think that's why I love it so much because I just lie there, my legs in straps doing an exercise and we're chatting away so it's lovely, just a nice thing to go and do."

2. Peloton and Love Island

Edina,,Mn/usa,-,January,1,,2020:,Peleton,Retail,Exercise,StoreShutterstock

Redknapp likes to ride her stationary bike while watching TV. “I've got a Peloton at home,” she told HELLO!. “I watch Love Island and go for a bike ride in the lounge, [people] must be looking [at me] like 'what was she doing?' If I've got a night in, I get on the Peloton, bike ride, do a few situps, then I'm done.”

3. Natural Beauty

Redknapp credits her preference for a natural look for her glowing skin. “I think it has something to do with the make-up I wear and the products I put on my skin,” she told Women’s Fitness. “I have always used quite a dewy base on my face which perhaps gives it a slight shine. I prefer a natural look to a full-on face of glam make-up.”

4. Grounded Life

Redknapp says she lives a very grounded life. “I am very aware I have had an amazing life and a great career, which has not come easy and has required a lot of hard work,” she told Women’s Fitness. “As long as I surround myself with the right people, I am OK. My two sons are my absolute world. The media speculate why I am not out there in the papers being photographed dating or with a new man on my arm, but I have not chosen to take that path. My priority is and always will be to be the best mum I can to my kids, who are my pride and joy.”

5. Not a Gym Bunny

Redknapp is not always motivated to work out. “If someone said to me, 'do you want to meet for a drink and a bit of dinner on Tuesday night or go to the gym?' I mean, I'm always going to meet my mate for dinner,” she told HELLO!. “The gym is not at the front of my priorities. I'm not a big gym bunny… I'd love to do yoga but after about three minutes I start thinking about all the other things I should be doing rather than sitting in this position and thinking I haven't got time for this today.”

And, according to her followers, she is teasing a new single, Been Like This, from her upcoming album. How does the mother-of-two stay fit? 1. She “Worked Every Day” to Lose Her Baby Weight

Spotlight: Meghan TrainorRebecca Sapp/Getty Images

Meghan revealed to Entertainment Tonight Canada that when she gave birth to her first son Riley, she was at her “heaviest” and it impacted her emotionally and physically. “I was my heaviest I've ever been, I was like over 200 pounds when I C-sectioned him out. I just wasn't feeling great”’ she said. “I've never had stitches, so to have this C-section scar, I was in a really dark place and I wanted to be in a great place for my son,” she added. To lose the weight, “I worked every day and challenged myself,” she continued. “I was like, ‘If I can survive a C-section, I can do anything!’ I was very dedicated, and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time, one pound… I learned that I do like healthy food and I learned what portions mean. And I learned my brain is so happy when I exercise, so I’m just [feeling] better than ever.”

2. Her Son Motivates Her

Her biggest motivation to get into shape was her son. “I want to run and keep up with my kid. I want to be able to put on a bathing suit and run out there and not be in my head about it. And I want to climb up a treehouse with him,” she told PEOPLE. “I've lost all the baby weight and 10 extra lbs., so I'm just going to keep going and do this for my younger self.”

3. She Lost One Pound Per Week

Goal,Weight,Date,On,CalendarShutterstock

Megan told PEOPLE that she had a slow and steady approach to weight loss. “I did it the healthy way, the long way, the one pound a week way. And it's a proud accomplishment that I never thought I could ever do,” she said.

4. She Works Out with a Person Trainer

Meghan has been working with Rebecca Stanton (@rebeccabroxfit) for years. The two do everything from simple strength and weight training to HIIT style workouts.

5. Her Husband Is Her Workout Buddy and Fitspiration

In 2018, Meghan told Entertainment Tonight that her husband, Daryl Sabara, is her workout buddy. “He really changed my life. He showed me how working out can be fun. I didn't believe it, but now it's true and it feels so good when you're sore -- I love that feeling now, I'm addicted to it,” she said. “He cooks for me and taught me to cook. I never knew how to cook. He taught me, like, secrets how to make your food taste great but also be healthy for you.”

6. She Eats Smaller Portions

Meghan maintains that it isn’t just what she eats – but how much of it – that is crucial to weight loss. “I learned what portions mean. I was very dedicated and I started seeing the pounds come off like one week at a time,” she said.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
