She Works Out Regularly
Longoria shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with TODAY. She says that working out is a priority for her. “I’ve always been an exerciser. I don’t really do it for vain reasons, I do it for my mental health. I was an aerobics instructor in college, I was a trainer. My degree is in kinesiology, so it’s just been part of my lifestyle. It’s not something that I do, it’s part of my life.”
She Eats Healthy
Longoria makes sure to eat a healthy diet. For her, that means moderation. “I don’t think I live by any hard and fast rules of restriction,” she says to TODAY. “I think it’s just moderation and just common sense. I’m lucky that I gravitate to healthy things. I love fish and vegetables. I love chicken and vegetables. I love beef and vegetables…I don’t like desserts and sweets. I don’t like sweet things. Dessert comes and people go, ‘Oh, I have to have dessert.’ I’m like, eh, pass.”
She Cooks
Longoria is known for her cooking skills. She shared this video on Instagram of herself making enchiladas. Longoria captioned the post, “Enchiladas anyone? I love making these whenever friends and family come over. All you need are tortillas, cheese, chicken and of course, a good sauce! Tag me if you recreate this 😋”
She Does Squats
Longoria shared this video on Instagram of herself doing different lower body workouts. In it, she is seen doing squats. The Cleveland Clinic states that squats are very beneficial. “Proper squatting form requires you to reaaaaally engage your core — the muscles of your stomach, pelvis, hips and lower back. These large muscle groups support every move you make, both large and small, so keeping them strong helps keep you well. Strong core muscles play a role in: Maintaining good posture. Relieving back pain. Lowering your risk of injuries like hip flexor strains and sports hernias.”
She Does Hip Thrusts
Longoria is also seen doing hip thrusts with a weight in the previous Instagram video. Hip thrusts are very beneficial.
