Venezuelan Star Evaluna Montaner Shares Swimsuit Video From a Boat
Evaluna Montaner is celebrating another trip around the sun – in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts the Venezuelan singer rocks a blue bathing suit while boating on her special day. "It's my birthdayyy," she captioned the Instagram clip. "I love you precious," her brother, Ricardo, commented. "A hug to you my queen! God bless you," added Camila Canabal. How does the 26-year-old keep herself fit and healthy? Celebwell rounded up some of her top lifestyle tips.
Do Yoga
Evaluna is an avid yogi. Luckily, her husband, Camilo, is a great yoga buddy. She captioned a photo of them, "when your husband is more flexible than you." Harvard Health supports yoga as a great body-mind workout. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."
Go for a Swim
When Evaluna is around water, you can find her swimming. The CDC says that just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
Read
Evaluna has another healthy habit: Reading. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
Take a Hike
Evaluna also spends a lot of time hiking. "God never ceases to amaze us with His Creation. Today has been WOW," she captioned a post filled with photos from a spectacular hike with her husband. Some of the physical benefits of hiking include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.
Hydrate
Evaluna understands the importance of hydration. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
