Ella Purnell is modeling for Miu Miu. In a new social media post the Fallout and Yellowjackets star unveils new shots from the brand’s recent campaign, looking absolutely gorgeous in a dress from the designer collection. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. “Wowza purnell,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. No Oysters

Oysters,Fresh,Seafood,Healthy,Meal,Food,Snack,On,The,TableShutterstock

Ella eats healthy, but has a few restrictions. “I have a stomach condition where I can’t eat certain foods, which is really convenient when you get cast as a lead in a food show,” she told Decider about how her condition complicated filming of the show Sweetbitter. “There was one oyster scene that was the most important scene in the whole season. They’re like, ‘You have to eat an oyster.’ I was like ‘If I eat an oyster, I’m taking two weeks off work because I will be so sick.'”

2. Hiking

Ella hikes often– a great workout according to the National Parks Service. It helps with building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

3. Roller Skating

You can also find Ella roller skating. “A chilled morning skate with the eagles in the mountains of Vancouver Island // lately I’ve been focusing on flow; just getting smoother with those transitions and filler moves like disco spins and dips. Still struggling to balance with that heal toe spin at the end but getting better at coming out of them without landing on my a**!” she captioned a recent video. Why should you consider tying on a pair of skates? “Inline skating increases your heart rate and gets your lungs working, both components in aerobic exercise. You can increase these aerobic benefits by skating on an incline, skating more vigorously, or practicing interval skating. Aerobic exercise improves the cardiovascular system, reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure,” says Rollerblade.

4. Self-Care

Ella prioritizes self-care, which is “about committing to myself,” she explained to In the Gloss. “The actual bits and bobs matter less than actually carving out one hour a week and dedicating that time to myself. It’s really about digging deep, and learning to give myself things. Little pep talks in the mirror, repeating affirmations, and setting goals help with that. I’ll do a face mask, take vitamins, moisturize, or shave my legs, but my absolute favorite thing to do is to light a candle and spend an hour reading a chapter of a book that I love. It’s not time that I’m on my phone, or reading emails, or doing laundry, or dishes, or calling that friend who really needs me—because I need me, too.”

5. Enjoying Food

“I’m a terrible chef. I wish I was better, but I’m not. Actually, that’s not true. That’s not doing me justice. I am actually a mediocre chef,” she told Parade. “I definitely have learned how to appreciate food or flavors more now. I eat now to enjoy eating the food, not just to pass the time or fill my belly because eating’s a thing that humans do, which, I think, is sometimes how I viewed it. I’m certainly not an expert by any means, but I’ve learned how to have wine and certain drinks with food, how to taste notes and flavors, how to actually appreciate the artistry of it … sounds really pretentious.”

The Walking Dead Star Eleanor Matsuura is not ready to say goodbye to the summer sunshine. Matsuura, who played Yumiko Okumura on the hit show, enjoyed the unusual fall weather in London, England, posing in a swimsuit in an outdoor pool and sharing the photo on social media. “Hey summer we’re not quite done yet babe 😎,” she captioned the post. “That London life looks amazing,” a fan commented. Here’s how the actress lives her best life.

1. She Loves Her Family

Matsuura is grateful to have her family with her when she’s filming. “When I’m in Atlanta [for The Walking Dead], we don’t shoot on the weekends, which is amazing,” she says. “So weekends are for a bit of line learning, bit of reset and thinking about what shooting schedule I have for next week. But also, I have a family, so my family come with me everywhere. The weekends are spent with them where I’m being a mum, doing mummy stuff.”

2. She's Got Style

Matsuura describes her style as simple with a twist. “I wear a lot of dark-coloured clothes – mostly black – but will often add in a pop of color or a texture like fake fur,” she says. “In terms of shapes, I like my clothes to be well-structured and well-fitting. [My favorite fashion era is] the 70s – I love that era of kimonos, fringing and long, flowing dresses. I’m so pleased flares are making a comeback. I love labels like Chloé, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. I also love Halston Heritage for red-carpet dresses.”

3. Pandemic Slowdown

Writers,BlockShutterstock

Matsuura says she struggled to feel creative during the pandemic lockdowns. “I felt so uncreative for so long,” she says. “I remember that first initial wave of, ‘Oh my gosh, this is happening. Everything's shut down. No one can go anywhere,’ and there was an immediate response from everyone going, ‘I'm going to make a funny sketch’ or ‘I'm going to write’ or ‘here's the time I needed to write my novel.’ And I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I don't have an ounce of motivation.’ I really lost my sense of my playfulness and my creativity and it seemed to be compounded by this external pressure from social media that we have to be productive with our time. I sat with it for a long time and I realize now that that productivity, the pressure to be constantly busy, it's just capitalism. We're all just living in a capitalist world. Once I kind of aligned myself with this realization, I made peace with it pretty quickly. I put it to bed and I was like, ‘Okay, I'm just gonna be here.’”

4. Music Lover

Matsuura has a number of playlists to get her through the week. “I like music when I’m driving to work to film, driving on set to get me in the mood or character,” she says. “I pick playlists for every kind of moment in the day to match my mood. At the moment, I’m actually going through lots of old music like The Beatles and old Bowie albums; I’m literally going through them album by album because we don’t listen to albums anymore. It’s actually kind of cool to listen to something as a complete concept album, how it was meant to be heard. There’re so many things, so many beautiful albums which I just haven’t appreciated for a long time because you just hear the songs and get used to that. It’s been really cool going back and listening to them as a whole piece.”

5. More Than An Actor

Matsuura refuses to be pigeonholed as an entertainer. “I want to look into more producing, more directing, more writing,” she says. “The work that's really turning me on at the moment is all the women that are juggling all of those things, spinning all of those plates. I'm really noticing that women are more and more stepping up and going, “No, I'm not going to be in a box.” It's okay for us to be more than just an actor now.”

Ella Purnell is a British actress, getting her start at a young age in theater and movies like Maleficent and Never Let Me Go, and series like Sweetbitter. Her growing acting career aside, Ella is known for her confidence, strength, and her ability to maintain her physical and mental well-being. What’s her advice? Here are some tips we dug up on how Ella Purnell prioritizes her health and wellness.

1. Hiking

She posted photos on Instagram of her exploring the outdoors and hiking, very beneficial to overall health and well-being. According to the Cleveland Clinic, “in addition to being a good form of exercise, walking through nature comes with other health benefits like lowering your blood pressure, improving sleep and reducing depression and anxiety.”

2. Confidence is key

She focuses on mental strength, in addition to physical strength. "As a girl we are made to feel ashamed of having confidence. If we have a bit of self-confidence, people think you are really full of yourself. People think you are cocky or too sassy and we have to play nice all the time. I think what I learnt in Sweetbitter was the pressure of this job can really get to me as it was my first time doing TV and the first time as a lead. I kept questioning, ‘are you sure you want me?’ I was really freaking out and I doubted myself a lot, I have never really valuated my own self- esteem and it was the first time I have ever had a real crisis of confidence,” she told Glamour.

3. She’s working on her strength

She’s sure of herself and stands behind what she believes. “I also learnt when it comes to young people, feminism, mental health or politics, my opinion is important, I do have an opinion and I’m entitled to an opinion. I think it has been interesting for me to learn how to speak up for myself, which I think comes from leading a show. Everyone’s looking at you and you have to have the answers. I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. Growing up in the film industry is terrifying because you have to conform to so many ideals and ideas. But then you hit a certain age where you don’t care, and you just learn to be yourself,” she told Glamour.

4. She’s fine with not being “perfect”

She doesn’t strive for unattainable perfection. "You want to project an image that you’re perfect and people ask, ‘what are your beauty secrets?’ You want to come up with these great, amazing routines but really, I barely take my makeup off at night! But I am done with trying to project perfection, it’s refreshing to be like, ‘I don’t know, I’ll let you know when I figure it out!’ There’s a pressure for young actors and actresses to be working all the time and to stay relevant so when it comes to interviews you have to stand for something,” she told Glamour. “Everyone’s got a thing and I am still figuring out what is my thing?”

5. She prioritizes mental health

She took to Instagram to say, “happy world mental health day my dudes!!!!! This is my favourite day! I love talking about mental health!! My mental health! Your mental health! Emotions! Feelings! Pain! Trauma! Hurt! Healing! Recovery! Life! Sorry I haven’t been very open about mine lately. I’ve been busy filming and press and moving house and really all of those are just excuses because I’ve actually just been feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed & I couldn’t find the time or the words. Some words I do want to share with you today though - I wrote a chapter of this book called ‘It’s not okay to feel blue (& other lies)’, by @scarcurtis. It came out a week ago. I wrote about what “mental health” means to me. It’s very honest, very personal, and very mad. I write about depression. I write about manic mood swings and anxiety and self harm. I write about the little voice in my head that tells me I am shit all the time. I’m incredibly proud of it, and incredibly honoured that my name is included amongst some of my heroes. This book is one of the most beautiful, touching, relatable things I’ve ever read. If you are struggling, or you feel alone, or you want to laugh, or you want to cry, or you just want to feel something, this book will help. You really are not alone, believe us! It’s okay. Be kind to yourself. 💙 Love love always love. 💙”

The horror genre is renowned for its spine-chilling narratives and tense atmospheres, but it's also a showcase for the talents and physiques of its stars. From mastering demanding roles, to sharing skincare routines, diet secrets, and workout regimens, these actors remain icons both on and off screen. Dive deep into the lives of these horror mavens like Amandla Stenberg, who's breaking boundaries with authentic LGBTQ+ representations, to Bella Thorne, who advocates for body positivity and personal confidence. Whether it’s challenging conventional beauty norms or embracing an all-natural skincare routine, these stars prove they are just as intriguing off screen. Dive in and get inspired by their stories and lifestyles.

1. Amandla Stenberg

Los,Angeles-,Oct,21:,Amandla,Stenberg,Arrives,For,5th,AnnualShutterstock

Amandla Stenberg talked about playing a queer character in Bodies, Bodies, Bodies to them. “It’s such a relief to be able to express that part of my identity authentically through a character and not have to conform to a different expression that is not authentic to me. What was so fun as an actor, and also as a producer, was being able to explore all the nuances of queer relationships through these characters — and being able to use my own experience and my understanding. The minutiae that I feel like we have experienced as queer people could be hilarious or meaningful. It was such a joy.”

2. Maika Monroe

Los,Angeles,-,Jan,21:,Maika,Monroe,At,The,24thShutterstock

Maika Monroe has starred in several horror movies, notably, It Follows and The Guest. She talked about how she handles those roles in an interview with IndieWire. “I’ve learned that for me, for my mental health, I have to be able to let go of it at the end of the day. A lot of the movies that I do are very dark and very intense, and it doesn’t do me any good to live in that space for longer than I needed to. For these movies, I want the characters to be grounded as possible, so to do that, [I have] to pull from my own traumas and my own experiences and that obviously is very overwhelming. But, for me, it is very important to be able to let go.”

3. Elizabeth Lail

Los,Angeles,-,Sep,10:,Elizabeth,Lail,At,The,2018Shutterstock

Elizabeth Lail has starred in Countdown and You. She shared some of her skincare secrets with Byrdie. “I’m trying to introduce more clean beauty into my routine. But more than anything I want something that works. So I also really love Murad. Their eye cream is amazing. As far as makeup, I feel like a clown when I have too much on so I like to keep it simple. I just spot correct with Clé de Peau concealer. And then I use a lot of Beautycounter because it’s a clean beauty brand. I have their mascara, brow gel, and sunscreen stick, which is great on the go. I’m just constantly on Instagram buying the next thing I see… for better or for worse.”

4. Florence Pugh

Los,Angeles,-,Jan,12:,Florence,Pugh,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Florence Pugh is known for roles in horror films like Midsommar and Don’t Worry Darling. She tells ELLE that she doesn’t believe in losing weight for roles. "I'm never losing weight to look fantastic for a role," she said. "It's more like: How would this character have lived? What would she be eating?"

5. Jessica Rothe

Jessica,Roth,Attends,The,World,Premiere,Of,"poms",At,RegalShutterstock

Jessica Rothe is known for her role in the Happy Death Day series. She tells The Hollywood Reporter that she loves to cook. “One of my favorite recipes that I made a million times during quarantine is Instant Pot zucchini bolognese. It’s a spin on the one that Meghan Markle made famous, but it has Italian sausage in it. I think it’s Italian sausage, zucchini, onion and garlic. It’s so easy and it’s so delicious. But I get it. It’s a weird, very moist, squishy vegetable. I think you just have to make sure you prepare it right.”

6. Tessa Thompson

Santa,Monica,,Ca,-,June,16,,2018:,Tessa,Thompson,AtShutterstock

Tessa Thompson has starred in films like Annihilation. She also starred in the Thor film series, and did her own stunts for them. She talked about this in an interview with Comic Book Resources. "It felt great! Yeah, it felt great. Particularly for the five months that I was there, and I was working on the stage where did all the stunt choreography and the likes of folks like Chris Hemsworth. It felt good to be able to be on par with everyone around me."

7. Bailee Madison

New,York,,Ny,-,February,5,,2020:,Bailee,Madison,WearingShutterstock

Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark star Bailee Madison opened up about her skincare to Byrdie. “I am a big believer in no makeup as much as I can. Set makeup is the worst because you're caked in as much powder as possible. My hair is the longest it's ever been because it's usually so damaged, but it hasn't had that much heat on it these days, and I do hair masks. And for my skin, I try to give it skin breathers. I'm old school like that from my mom. It's not that fancy, y'all! But I do love a good jade roller, though."

8. Emma Roberts

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,12:,Emma,Roberts,Arrives,For,Baby2babyShutterstock

Emma Roberts is one of the stars of the horror series, American Horror Story. She talked about her workout routine to InStyle. “I started working out regularly when I was living in New Orleans shooting American Horror Story: Coven several years ago,” she said. “I really fell in love with the food there. To counter all I was eating, I worked out more. It was a great balance: I'd have fried-chicken sliders at night and then go to my yoga class the next morning."

9. Jane Levy

Los,Angeles,-,Feb,06:,Jane,Levy,Jane,Levy,ArrivesShutterstock

Jane Levy’s horror credits include Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe. She shared her skincare secrets in an interview with Glamour. “At night I wash my face with oil first to get rid of the makeup. There is an oil I use as face wash from Living Libations, the frankincense smell. And then after, I use the Weleda cleansing milk, which you can get at a natural food store. If I’m not wearing makeup, I usually only wash it with one or the other, but if I’m wearing makeup, I use the oil first to break down the makeup, and then the Weleda.”

10. Samara Weaving

Shutterstock

Samara Weaving is best known for her roles in Ready or Not and The Babysitter. She shared her diet secrets with Marie Claire. “As cliché as it sounds, you’ve got to listen to your body. If I go for three days of just having fruit and vegetables, I’ll make a salad and a rice bowl for dinner and have lighter meals. The next three days I’ll have pasta and more carbs and eggs benedict for breakfast. I listen to my body and what am I really craving? As soon as you go, ‘I’m going to diet for two weeks,’ what you’re craving is what you set out not to have.”

11. Olivia Cooke

London,,United,Kingdom,-,March,19,,2018:,Olivia,Cooke,AttendsShutterstock

Ouija and The Quiet Ones star Olivia Cooke talked about her fitness routine to Byrdie. “I wish it wasn’t the case, but exercise feels like I’m shoveling serotonin and dopamine directly into my brain. It’s just a pain in the arse to force myself to do it. I can be slobbish and put it off for a few days or a week if I’m working, but then I really start to feel the effects of that mentally. Sometimes I'll do a half-hour to 45-minute blast, either following a video from Madfit on YouTube or a guided yoga class on Glo. Or, if I’m not in the mood to be told what to do, I’ll make it up as I go along listening to the radio.”

12. Joey King

Los,Angeles,-,Jan,31:,Joey,King,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

The Conjuring star, Joey King, talked about her morning routine to Byrdie. “I wake up, I pack my Gatorade and many liters of water. I eat a big breakfast: a bowl of oats with lots of fruit and some toast. I head to training, where I fuckin' go for it for a few hours. Then I have meetings to prepare for the rest of the film. Then I take a shower, shove myself in an ice bath, and then I am miserable while I'm doing that. But then I get out and sleep like a goddamn baby."

13. Haley Lu Richardson

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,4:,Haley,Lu,Richardson,At,TheShutterstock

Haley Lu Richardson is known for her role in the film Split. She talked about her skincare routine to Byrdie. “I'm very into my skincare routine and use products that are as natural as possible. I love Eminence Organics and use a face wash and exfoliator from the brand. I also use Derma-E's hyaluronic acid serum ($30). I love Starface pimple patches ($15), and then there's this brand called Squish that makes these gorgeous little floral patches with rhinestones at the center ($14). Fun pimple stickers are the best invention since sliced bread. I wish they existed when I was a teen because they make having acne fun.”

14. Sofia Boutella

Los,Angeles,-,Oct,20:,Sofia,Boutella,At,The,GoShutterstock

One of Sofia Boutella’s best known roles is for the horror film Climax. She shared her leg exercises in an interview with Coach Web. “The leg work I do is about performing one movement over and over again for long enough until the muscle goes numb – that’s when I know it’s working. It takes me around half an hour so I put on some music and repeat the exercise until I can’t feel myself doing it any more. It’s hardcore, but it’s worth it. The feeling of being able to kick with greater strength each day is empowering.”

15. Bella Thorne

Los,Angeles,,Ca,/,Usa,-,February,09,,2020:,BellaShutterstock

Bella Thorne has starred in Keep Watching and Amityville: The Awakening. On Twitter, she encouraged her followers to not weigh themselves. “Almost every day I have been to the gym in the last 6 weeks,” Thorne wrote. “Turns out I only lost one pound of fat and gained one pound of muscle.. throw away your scales ladies because they don’t mean s**t. Chanel Coco Brown isn’t just sharing workout tips—she’s living them. The professional influencer, known for her vibrant wellness content on Instagram, recently posted an inspiring message to her followers as the year wrapped up. Dressed in sleek two-piece workout gear, Brown encouraged everyone to keep pushing their fitness goals, reminding us, “The year isn’t over yet, making each day count 🔒.” With a mix of motivational wisdom and seriously strong routines, Brown shows how discipline and dedication fuel her fitness journey. From Pilates to pulldowns, here’s how she stays in peak shape.

She Disciplined

When it comes to fitness, Brown is disciplined. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. “I’M TALKING TO YOU 🗣️ it’s Monday, let’s go! This is what I do when I don’t want to go to the gym 👉🏽 I put my shoes on, get in the car, turn up to the gym, still I don’t want to workout and that’s okay, it’s okay to not want to do something but what we’re still going to do is show up. We’re going to show up because that is how we’re going to build self-discipline, that is how we’re going to build a habit, a habit that will take you from where you are to where you want to be. It’s okay to not want to do something, you can crawl back to your home comforts, but nothing grows from comfort zones and we can’t always let our thoughts or mood dictate our actions. Get uncomfortable, learn to be okay with uncomfortable. Complain throughout the whole workout if you want to, take it slower, have a mediocre session if that suits you, because it’s not about this single session it’s about the bigger picture - you showed up, even when you could have made 100 excuses, you showed up because you’re levelling up. Self-discipline baby.”

She Does Pilates

Brown likes to do Pilates to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself at a class. The Cleveland Clinic states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

She Does Treadmill Exercises

Brown shared some of her favorite exercises in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing in it is walking on a treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “Treadmill working is an aerobic/ cardio exercise. Studies demonstrate that aerobic exercise can minimize the risk of heart diseases. Moreover, they can strengthen your heart muscles. This helps to lower blood pressure and allows the heart to pump blood more efficiently. Most doctors recommend aerobic exercise to people suffering from cardiovascular diseases.

Cardiovascular exercises control cholesterol levels in the blood, preventing artery blockage. They increase high-density lipoprotein and reduce low-density lipoprotein in the blood.”

She Does Squats

Brown is also seen doing squats in the previous Instagram video. Allina Health reports that they have a lot of health benefits. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

She Does Pulls-Downs

Brown shared this video on Instagram of herself doing back exercises, including pulldowns. This exercise is very beneficial. Piedmont states, “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability.”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

Brenda Perlaza is flaunting her fantastic figure in a tiny bikini. In a new social media post the influencer, who calls herself La Barbie Negra, looks flawless as she poses on the beach in a neon yellow swimsuit. “#viral,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Wow Wow,” one of her followers commented, while several others added fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
