She's Motivated

Gordon talked about what she likes about working out in her post's caption. "Take that step forward and begin one of the most rewarding journeys there is to be had in this life. I am so incredibly passionate about fitness and its direct correlation to both mental & physical health. Most people are under the impression that all gym goers are in the gym solely because they want to improve their physical appearance. While that may be true for some, it's certainly not the case for all. The self confidence & mental strength that comes from pushing yourself to the limits is the most powerful thing that can come from being dedicated in the gym."

She Wants To Help Others

In her post's caption, Gordon talked about what she loves about being a personal trainer. "The way I've seen that in my own journey as well as my clients journeys truly fills my heart with joy and gives me so much purpose on this earth. I know God created me to motivate, inspire, & lead people to success so that's exactly what I will continue to do. Taking the first step is the hardest part, but nothing good ever comes easy. So take that first step & change your life to be the best you can be 💪🏼"

She Uses Saunas

Gordon likes going in saunas, and shared why in the caption of this Instagram video. "These are the main reasons I started incorporating the sauna into my WEEKLY routine 🤞🏼Detoxification: Sweating in the sauna can help expel toxins and impurities from the skin. This can improve your overall skin health and aid the body's natural detox process which will leave you feeling better than before. It's important to remember to drink lots of water during and after use to flush out even more toxins. Better Sleep: Saunas can help improve sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing stress because of the heat & quiet (a calm environment). I have found that I sleep more deeply and feel more refreshed after sauna use. Stress Relief: Saunas promote relaxation which helps to reduce stress and tension that we all feel in our day to day lives. The warmth and calm environment promote the release of endorphins, which are natural mood elevators. It's a similar feeling to how one would feel after a really good workout."

She Has Support

Gordon shared some of her wellness secrets in the caption of this Instagram video. One thing that has helped her is having support in her life. "When embarking on your fitness journey, it is absolutely PIVOTAL that you surround yourself with people who are going to build you up, not break you down. This was something that I did not recognize soon enough because I truly believed that these people would change. I slowly learned that people won't change unless they want to. So, even though it was scary and lonely, I made the decision to leave that circle. Truly one of the best decisions I could have ever made."

She Doesn't Eat Inflammatory Foods

Gordon shared her diet secrets in the caption of the previous Instagram video. "Eating inflammatory foods was a huge discovery that I believe has led to so much change in how I look and feel. When it comes to wondering which foods will affect your gut, it's probably best to do an elimination diet since everyone's body responds differently. I learned that (as sad as it has been) my body does not respond well to gluten, eggs, red meat, or dairy. It's been quite a change in my diet that has taken some adjusting, but I feel SO much better overall!!"
