In a new social media post footballer Jaime Redknapp’s wife flaunts her washboard abs in exercise clothes. “One 🍎 a day,” she captioned the Instagram post. “😍😍😍 So beautiful 😍 😍😍” commented one of her followers. “BODY!!!!” added another. 1. Kickboxing

Frida is a fan of kickboxing. “Dream Gym,” she captioned a post from the Maldives. "This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health.

2. Strength Training

In the same post, Frida also hits the gym and does a strength training workout, which includes weighted squats. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Harvard Health points to the many health benefits of yoga. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. Workout Buddies

Frida is a fan of the workout buddy system. Luckily her husband also prioritizes fitness. The two even spent last V-day at the gym sweating together. “Valentine’s Day @jab_box with my girl . You killed us @george__veness,” Jaime captioned the post.

5. Running

Frida is also a runner. “Great morning running for such an incredibly important cause,” she captioned one of her Instagram posts. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.
