Bouchard shared some of her fitness and health secrets with SELF. She says that she loves to cook eggs in the morning. “I’m not a cooking person, so there’s not much in the fridge. On the rare occasion that I do cook, I make myself breakfast. Eggs are my go-to in the morning for some protein. Orange juice as well. You have to start your day off with that.”

2. She Swims

Bouchard loves to swim to keep herself in shape. She tells SELF that she swims as a way to help her recover. “I love going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. I think it’s so relaxing. It’s also a great form of active recovery. It’s perfect for those rest days when you still want to move a little bit.” The Cleveland Clinic states that swimming has a lot of health benefits. “We’re not saying that swimming is easy (far from it!), but swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

3. She Stays Positive

Bouchard shared how she stays positive in her interview with SELF. “I always try to remind myself that things can happen when you least expect them to. You just have to keep working hard and suddenly things will click. That’s the experience that I’ve had in my career. I trust that if I’m doing the right things and I’m on the right path, even if times are tough, eventually I’ll reach my goal.”

4. She Skis

Bouchard loves to ski to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself on the slopes in Aspen on Instagram. Bouchard captioned the post, “For my birthday this year, I wanted to learn how to ski!” She also shared these photos and videos on Instagram of herself on the same trip. Bouchard captioned the post, “First day (ever!!!) on the slopes!”

5. She Lifts Weights

Bouchard shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is lift weights. In this video, she is seen doing tricep curls, pulldowns, and pulley rows. ACE Fitness states that lifting weights has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights increases production of the hormone IGF-1. This hormone is related to the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which is a neurotransmitter responsible for stimulating the growth of new neural pathways in the brain along with enhancing communication between existing pathways. In short, lifting heavy could make you smarter by enhancing cognitive function.”

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Rachel Stuhlmann, known for her dynamic presence as a model and tennis influencer, brings her passion for wellness, sports, and fitness to every aspect of her life. In a recent Instagram post, she shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of creating her content, showcasing her dedication to the sport and the energy she brings to each shoot. “BTS filming of a tennis drill w the bestie😭💕🎾,” she captioned the video, giving fans a sneak peek into her content creation process. Whether she’s playing tennis, staying disciplined in her fitness routine, or sharing her wellness journey, Stuhlmann’s approach is all about intentionality and joy. Here’s a closer look at the habits that keep her active, healthy, and balanced.

1. She Plays Tennis

Tennis is one of the ways that Stuhlmann stays in shape. Better Health states that tennis has a lot of health benefits. “Playing tennis has many health benefits including: increasing aerobic capacities, lowering resting heart rate and blood pressure, improving metabolic function, increasing bone density, lowering body fat, improving muscle tone, strength and flexibility, increasing reaction times.”

2. She Plays Pickleball

Stuhlmann also plays pickleball to keep herself in shape. The Cleveland Clinic states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Sports like pickleball stress your muscles and bones. Your body responds by making them stronger. Routine pickleball play can help you: Improve muscle strength. Prevent osteoporosis, a disease that weakens your bones and can lead to fractures.”

3. She Values Wellness

Stuhlmann opened up about her wellness journey in an interview with Fitness Gurls. “My whole life has been tennis; however, there was a short time right after college when I shifted much of my focus from the tennis world to fitness training. I think I was just so excited to be finished with only being able to do tennis-specific workouts and for the first time in my life, I had the freedom to do whatever workouts I wanted to! I began weight training, working out extremely hard, and focusing on my nutrition. I went all in; I did two strategic workouts a day and followed a weighed-out meal plan given to me by a nutritionist who helped me reach my goals.”

4. She’s Disciplined

Stuhlmann talked about the discipline that she gained from tennis in her Fitness Gurls interview. “I loved being an athlete, and playing college tennis taught me many qualities—time management, work ethic, and resilience. Committing to my studies was not as easy for me as developing my tennis career. Fortunately, I was provided with great tutors and mentors at Mizzou that helped me stay on top of my studies. Sometimes outsourcing and working as a team with other people is a good way to succeed. I was super disciplined with my training and workout routines, and once I finished playing in college, I transferred that into my professional career. Now instead of preparing and training for big tennis matches, I focus on everything I have going on in my professional life and how I can best show up for all the various work I do within the sport.”

5. She Plans Her Workouts

Stuhlmann likes to plan out her workouts ahead of time. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “I told you that this year I’m hitting these workouts hard, and with confidence!☺️🔥🧡💪With such a busy schedule, it’s important for me to have efficient and effective workouts & meal plans. Through years of experience (and trial & error🙂), I have figured out what works for me to stay fit and healthy!💯😌”

Reese Witherspoon is "in our pickleball era,” according to a caption on her new Instagram post. “Pickleball is similar to tennis but has its own court, paddle, ball and rules. Most people find it more forgiving than tennis and easier to play. But even though it can be less impactful on your joints, it’s still a great workout, says physical therapist Jim Edwards, DPT. You need to move quickly and make rapid decisions,” according to the Cleveland Clinic. “Advanced picklers are taking their play to the next level with tournaments across the U.S. and world,” Edwards told the Clinic. So how does Reese stay in shape? Here’s how.

1. She Rides Her Bike

Last week, Witherspoon shared photos of her “Summer so far,” including her on a bicycle. “Health benefits include improved cardiovascular fitness, stronger muscles, greater coordination and general mobility, and reduced body fat. As with other types of exercise, it can also help improve mental health by lowering stress levels and stimulating feel-good endorphins,” says Harvard Health.

2. She Does Yoga

“Yoga is as good as basic stretching for easing pain and improving mobility in people with lower back pain. The American College of Physicians recommends yoga as a first-line treatment for chronic low back pain,” says Hopkins Medicine. “Gentle yoga has been shown to ease some of the discomfort of tender, swollen joints for people with arthritis, according to a Johns Hopkins review of 11 recent studies.”

3. You Know She Reads

Reese’s book club is an empire. This month’s choice? “If you stumbled upon a curiously abandoned house, would YOU go inside? 👀 Our July @reesesbookclub pick, #TheCliffs by @jcourtsullivan follows main character Jane’s journey as she uncovers the past lives of a home. 🔦🏠 It’s an entrancing spin on a generational novel and filled with mystery.”

4. She Hydrates With Lemon in Her Water

“Most of us don’t drink enough water. A daily lemon water habit is an easy way to get your day off on the right foot. How do you know if you’re drinking enough? Your urine is almost clear,” says the Cleveland Clinic. And: “Like all produce, lemons contain phytonutrients, which protect your body against disease. These phytonutrients have powerful antioxidant properties, which prevent cell damage from oxidation, the same mechanism that causes rust.”

5. She Plays Pickleball Now!

“With a smaller court and many quick movements, pickleball is a great way to improve your balance and coordination over time. The game’s lateral movements allow players to build strength while improving stability. Additionally, pickleball exercises your hand-eye coordination, which is especially good for older adults who may experience a decline in hand-eye coordination with age,” says Tallahassee Memorial. “An obvious perk of pickleball is its effect on our physical fitness. With a wiffle-like ball and a smaller court and racket, most people find pickleball to be easier to learn and lower impact than other racket sports while still providing health benefits.”

Eugenie Bouchard is playing pickleball – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the tennis star shows off her impressive physique in a tennis skirt and top while on the court. “On Tuesday, I had an amazing time hosting a pickleball evening with @ClubMed in my hometown of Montreal! 🎾✨The pioneers of all-inclusive vacations have embraced pickleball, building 43 courts across 5 of their Caribbean resorts. To celebrate, we organized a pickleball workshop and had a blast! Next stop: a Club Med in the Caribbean to try out their pickleball courts!” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Tennis

Genie’s life revolves around tennis. “I spend most of my time on the tennis court. I wake up at 8,” Genie told Elle Canada. “Then I hit the tennis court for two hours working mainly on my technique. After lunch, I spend about another two hours on the tennis court.” According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say. all courts!” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

2. Discipline + Focus

“I’m very disciplined and focused; I need to be,” Genie divulged to Elle Canada. “If I do something then I’ll commit. I don’t think I’m naturally an emotional person. When I make a mistake, I’m obviously disappointed in myself, but I can’t dwell on it. I’ve learned not to dwell on the mistake while I’m playing because that will just lead to more mistakes. It’s a vicious cycle. I can’t afford to be an emotional rollercoaster.”

3. Strength Training

Genie maintains that as a tennis player, “I have to work on my strength and cardio,” she says. “I find the game of tennis has become more physical, and players are spending more time at the gym,” she told Elle. “I love doing weights because I know I’m getting stronger and I really enjoy that part of the gym. I also spend extra time on my lower body because I have to have strong legs on the court,” she added to The New Potato about her gym workouts. “I don’t really find any workouts overrated because fads don’t get incorporated into my routine. I always stay focused and do my training and stick to what is good for me.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

4. Protein and Carbs

Genie maintains a balance of carbs, good fats, and protein with her diet. “My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I could literally eat breakfast food three times a day. I love eggs benedict because it’s the perfect way to get that protein in the morning before I start my day,” she told The New Potato. “Before a big match I always have a big bowl of pasta to refuel. It’s a typical tennis player meal. I have to fill up on carbs because I burn so much energy during a match, so I need to make sure I get those carbs in and fuel up beforehand.” She also refuels her body post-match with a protein shake. “Right when I come off the court it’s hard for me to eat an entire meal right away, so it’s an easy way to get calories in during that crucial 30-45 minute window. In the hours afterwards, I try to stock up on protein and carbs.”

5. Hydration

Genie makes sure to drink enough water. “It’s really important to stay hydrated. I notice a big difference in my performance and with my skin. I feel better and I look better, and I find that to be important,” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

6. Sleep

“I also think that sleep is a necessity and should be a priority. A big part of my job is to get enough hours every night to recover and do it all again the next day. Nobody wants bags under their eyes!” Genie told The New Potato. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

7. Pickleball

In her latest post Genie plays pickleball. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the racquet sport helps improve heart health, enhances muscle and bone strength, increases balance and coordination, boosts brain health, and lengthens lifespan.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
