Georgia Toffolo, aka Toff, is heating up social media with her latest swimsuit snaps. In a new social media post the Made in Chelsea star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while vacationing in the tropics. “How to plan your perfect Maldives trip,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps, driving her followers wild. “Gorgeous!” commented one. “Knockout,” added another. How does the Brit beauty approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. “Mindful” Drinking

Georgia isn’t much of a drinker. “We were always photographed with glasses of champagne in our hands, but mine was normally a non-alcoholic version,” she told Independent. “I am a mindful drinker. I have been drinking since I was 18, but over the past three years, I have really tried to be more mindful.”

2. Moderation

In general, Georgia takes a moderate approach to health. “My attitude to wellbeing has changed hugely. I try to get balance and moderation, which is a constant battle, whether I am looking at how I eat, drink, work, or exercise. In my early 20s, it was so manic and I tried to work all the hours God sent, so the theme of my mid-20s has been trying to find moderation,” she told Independent.

3. Hydration

Georgia is all about hydration. “I drink loads and loads of water, feel super hydrated and feel great the next day. I spruce it up with a bit of basil or elderflower,” she told the publication. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

4. Walking Her Dog

Georgia takes her dog for lots of walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

5. Reading

Georgia loves to read, devoting an entire Instagram video to her healthy habit. “My current favourite books; I’ve absolutely adored each and every one of these, and all in such different ways!” she captioned the post. Her favorites? The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gratitude by Oliver Sacks, English Pastoral by James Rebanks, and The Dam Busters by Paul Brickhill. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Georgia Toffolo is the rare reality star—she got famous on Made in Chelsea and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!—who is also a published author. Her latest romance novel, Meet Me in Tahiti, was released in September. And in real life, she appears to be living a fantasy life, showing off footage on a Mexican beach, an adventure she is chronicling on the ITV program This Morning. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Georgia Toffolo stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Likes Collagen Protein

Toff enjoys collagen supplements. “When buying supplements, make sure you reach for powders with very few, simple ingredients (ideally just ‘collagen peptides’ or ‘collagen protein isolate’) and watch out for additives, flavors, and sugar. Watch the source, too: Try to buy a product that is NSF certified for safety and from a company that is transparent about their sourcing,” says registered dietician Keri Glassman on our sister site Eat This, Not That!

2. She Has Had Skin Issues

SHEIN x Georgia Toffolo Collection LaunchDave Benett/Getty Images

“'Where do I start?! At school I had a few dozen spots and my acne slowly and progressively became more severe. Being on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here was a huge turning point for me. I did a lousy job at hiding my skin like I normally would. Nobody had really seen it when I was on Made In Chelsea, the show has a filter that makes everyone look very polished,” she told Grazia. She has suffered from cystic acne. “As I sit here now my acne doesn't affect me nearly as much as it used to. It's been a long old journey but I'm feeling really positive.'”

3. Here’s Her Go-To Mascara

Aldi launches Its First Ever Champagne Bar VeuveDave Benett/Getty Images

"If you have a feeling you're about to get dumped wear waterproof mascara! That's a big one. Mark Francis actually recommended a great product to me. He and I lived together in LA years ago and I was always getting upset because I had quite noticeable acne scars. He told me about Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. It's a brilliant primer that I use to this day. It evens out texture, which is great if that's what you're after. I wouldn't be without it," she told Grazia.

4. She Has Worked Out With a Medicine Ball

Toffolo was once snapped working out with a personal trainer and using a medicine ball. Working your core with one is a great idea. “Core-strength exercises strengthen your core muscles, including your abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many physical activities,” says the Mayo Clinic. “You can do core-strength exercises on a carpeted floor or mat. Breathe freely and deeply during each core-strength exercise. Focus on tightening your transversus abdominis, the deepest abdominal muscle and the one you feel contracting when you cough.”

5. She Starts the Day Right

Poached,Eggs,Benedict,Served,On,Toast,With,Smoked,Salmon,,Avocado,Shutterstock

Toffolo once snapped a photo of her “best meal of the day”—breakfast, made of poached eggs, smoked salmon and some brown bread. "Eggs are a powerhouse of nutrients! They provide protein, vitamin B-12, iron, and more, but maybe one of the best benefits of an egg is its choline content," Amy Goodson, MS, RD, CSSD, LD, author of The Sports Nutrition Playbook, told Eat This, Not That!. "This nutrient is essential for brain development and helps with memory and cognition."

Outer Banks star Carlacia Grant wrapped up her summer with a fun-filled trip to beautiful Nikki Beach in Santorini, Greece. Grant, who plays Cleo on the show, shared a picture of herself posing in a cabana while wearing a brown bikini. Other photos and video showed the incredible food and swimming pool at the resort. “I’ve got a crush on Greece ☺️,” she captioned the post. Here’s what Grant’s training looks like, and how she feels about her castmates.

1. Training For Cleo

Grant wanted to be as physically prepared as possible for the role of Cleo. “I immediately got a trainer, Max Solomon, and we worked a lot on strength training, cardio, and toning,” she says. “I wanted to make sure that physically Cleo looked strong. Honestly, I was pretty ready when it came to the physicality of the role, having had a trainer beforehand, but one thing I will say I did learn was that it is extremely hard to swim in the ocean fully clothed.”

2. Authentically Herself

Grant draws on her own life experiences to play Cleo. “Cleo inspires me because she is authentically herself no matter the situation she is put in,” she says. “She trusts her instincts, that’s a valuable tool to use as an actor. Cleo is very ambitious when it comes to things that she wants and that’s something that resonates with me… Many of Cleo’s mannerisms that you see in the show I get from my aunts and other family members. Although I wasn’t born in the Caribbean, growing up in South Florida, my family gave me as close as you can get to a firsthand experience of being on the islands. I drew parts of my inspiration from my Haitian/Bahamian godmother that taught me proper enunciation, slang words, and just corrected me overall. However, in a way, it feels like I’ve been preparing to be Cleo before I was even cast.”

3. Filming Workouts

Just filming the show gave Grant a decent workout. “The show is a lot of cardio: running, swimming, everything in between,” she says. “[The cast] would all pass each other in the gym and we’d do some workouts together. That helped with being able to deal with the demand of the show.”

4. Friends Forever

Grant says her Outer Banks co-stars will be friends for life. “We were constantly messing with each other, bothering each other, and doing fun stuff,” she says. “We would be playing basketball, skateboarding, biking, eating, napping—it’s kind of like summer camp where there’s all these different activities going on all the time… Being in Barbados was one the best experiences of my life. Netflix booked an entire hotel only for us, so we were really able to bond as people. It was kind of like boarding school, where we all lived together in this giant hotel; we had sleepovers and we would go to the pool and really bond with each other. We’ll take those memories with us for a lifetime.”

5. Self-Care Time

Grant relaxes by enjoying her favorite cuisines and relaxing at the spa. “I’m a total foodie!” she says. “I love going out for food, but sometimes I go to the movies. I like being near the water listening to a good audiobook or going to the spa.”

1. She’s an “Elastic Girl”

“Ready for my yoga👍🙏,” Alessia has posted in the past, using the hashtags: #elasticgirl #breathe #yoga #yogaeverywhere #yogagirl #fitness #health. Try a mountain pose. Says the Cleveland Clinic: “Alignment Points: Stand tall with feet parallel and relax your tailbone down for a neutral pelvis. Lift up through the spine. Tuck your chin in slightly, and keep your head balanced over your shoulders. Benefits of Pose: Increases awareness of posture overall. Lengthens the entire spine. Can help improve balance when practiced with eyes closed.

2. She Eats Spirulina Pasta

"Spirulina is known primarily for its high protein content," Sydney Greene, MS, RD, tells our sister site Eat This, Not That!, which adds: “However, in order to consume 15-20 grams of protein per meal, you would have to supplement it with other high protein foods. For example, one tablespoon of powdered spirulina yields 6 grams of protein, which is a lot, considering it's only 45 calories. Add spirulina to smoothies with a serving of plain Greek yogurt in it to increase that protein intake.”

3. She Uses Advanced Peptides for Her Skin

Collagen peptides may or may not help your skin. Adding protein to your diet is essential. “From a general health perspective, it is important to ensure adequate protein within your diet. As you age, your protein needs increase slightly to maintain lean body mass. Consuming foods that contain the primary amino acids that make up collagen may help support skin, hair, nail and joint health as you age,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Takes Walks

BULGARI SERPENTI METAMORPHOSIS – Party at Terrazza 21Daniele Venturelli/Getty Images

The Cleveland Clinic spoke with Michael Roizen, MD about walking and he says: “Tracking your steps with an app that features a pedometer is key to walking success, Dr. Roizen says. People who love their apps or pedometers log a reported 2,000 more steps per day. Why? The reward comes from witnessing your success in real time, and enjoying the mental reward of celebrating your step-based accomplishments.

5. She Loves to Swim

“Swimming can improve mood in both men and women. For people with fibromyalgia, swimming can decrease anxiety, and exercise therapy in warm water can decrease depression and improve mood. Water-based exercise can improve the health of pregnant people and has a positive effect on the pregnant person’s mental health. Parents of children with developmental disabilities find that recreational activities, such as swimming, improve family connections,” says the CDC.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
