Georgina Campbell in Workout Gear Finishes a 5K

Here are her top lifestyle habits.

Georgina Campbell is running a 5k in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Barbarian star shows off her medal from the finish line at the Rodeo Run 5K in Huntington Beach, California. She shared the photos via her Instagram Stories. How does the English star, 31, approach health and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Hearty Breakfast

Georgina has shared that she has a healthy but balanced approach to diet and doesn't skip breakfast. During an interview with The Guardian she ate avocado eggs Benedict for breakfast. She also eats porridge, she told Happiful

Red Wine

Georgina's alcoholic beverage of choice? Red wine. "In my natural habitat, surrounded by wine and waiting for pasta," she captioned a post last year. "Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy," says the Mayo Clinic. "The alcohol and certain substances in red wine called antioxidants may help prevent coronary artery disease, the condition that leads to heart attacks."

Hot Water Therapy

Georgina is a big fan of the soak it out method. Here she is taking a moment for self-care in a hot tub. Soaking in a hot tub reaps similar benefits to taking a bath, which has been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Walking, Hiking, and Skiing

Georgina is very active outdoors. Walking, hiking, and skiing are some of her favorite activities. "First time cross country skiing," she captioned this image. Getting outside and moving is an easy way to achieve health and fitness goals. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

As can be evidenced in her recent posts, Georgina enjoys the benefits of running. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
