Not long after having her first child, Hadid shared her advice for other moms to Vogue. She says that she makes sure to give herself grace. “I would just say that we should all try to focus on taking time for ourselves,” says Hadid. “So just remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can, you’re doing amazing, and to just give yourself grace. And if you brushed your hair this week, I’m really proud of you.”
2. She Uses Clean Skincare Products
Hadid has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her secrets in her Vogue interview. Hadid says that she likes to use clean skincare products. "While I was pregnant, I really moved toward clean, natural products, so I used a brand called Oliveda. They have everything from cleanser to moisturizer, oils, so I really enjoyed using that.”
3. She Keeps Her Skincare Simple
When it comes to skincare, less is more for Hadid. She revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that she picked this up from her mom. “She had a very simple, natural take on skincare,” Hadid said. “She didn’t overdo it with product, and I feel like I’ve taken that on, where I think less is more. Doing too much for my skin or beauty routine can make it more complicated, and sometimes my skin can’t handle it. I think I’ll teach Khai to keep it simple when it comes to makeup, like my mom taught me.”
4. She Boxes

Hadid is a big fan of boxing. She tells Harper’s Bazaar, “I need to have a sport that wakes me up and that I can get better at, and boxing does that for me. I usually go to Gotham Gym in the West Village.” Harvard Health states that since boxing is an aerobic exercise, it has a lot of health benefits. “Aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood. Aerobics can also boost your endurance, which helps you climb a flight of stairs or walk farther.”
5. She Works With A Trainer
Hadid tells Harper’s Bazaar that she works with a boxing trainer, and that this has really helped her “My boxing trainer has become my coach. The coach-player thing has been really important my whole life. My work ethic obviously comes from my parents, but it was really pounded into me by my coaches, so it's key that I have that to feel good in the city and at home. They're like my brothers. It's great.”
6. She Makes Time For Herself
Hadid has a busy schedule, however, that doesn't mean she skimps on time for herself. “Obviously, I still have moments where I get a little bit dressed up,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
“Or I try to make me-time during the week, which is just a facial or take a really long shower just to relax. When I’ve had time to recharge and come back to life, I have more to offer, and that’s when I feel really strong and energized.”
7. She Planks
As you can see in this Interview, Hadid likes to plank to stay in shape. Allina Health states that planks are a great exercise. “The plank is a simple, effective bodyweight exercise that strengthens your core, as well as muscles in your upper and lower body. Core muscles, which include your back and abdomen, help you maintain posture and balance as you stand, sit and move throughout the day. The benefits of a strong core are: Reduced back pain. Reduced injuries. Increased flexibility.”
8. She Hikes
As you can see in her Instagram post, Hadid likes to go for hikes. According to Harvard Health, hiking has a lot of health benefits. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”
