Hydration

Hydration is a key part of Gisela’s approach to exercise. In a video detailing her workouts she starts by drinking water out of a pink Stanley. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Tea
Gisela is a tea drinker. In many of her posts you can find her starting the day off with a cup. Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.
Walking and Jogging
Next, she moves onto the treadmill for some walking and light jogging. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
Flexibility Training
In the video caption, Gisela explains that she does “flexibility training” for her period cramps. “I’m so tired of depending on painkillers every month and the pain doesn’t even go, it comes back after some hours lmao. I’m so glad i did this. Diana is definitely seeing me again & i’ll totally recommend her services. love her!! But tell me guys, is this something you’ll try? PS- She is a personal trainer for whatever you want to achieve in your fitness journey and not just period cramps,” she writes.
Strength Training
Gisela also does strength training. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
