Gisele Bündchen recently turned 45, but if you took one look at her, you’d think otherwise. Gisele has maintained her amazing face and body from her Victoria’s Secret Angel days. She recently shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself celebrating her birthday with her loved ones. In them, she wore an adorable set of workout gear as she went for a hike. She Hikes
As you can see from her Instagram post, Gisele loves going on hikes. She talked about her love of hiking in the caption, writing, “I’m so grateful for another trip around the sun and even more grateful to have spent it in nature, surrounded by love and my family.” Hiking has a lot of health benefits. When life gets challenging, always remember that the sun rises every day, bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better. She Works With A Pilates Teacher
Gisele works with Pilates instructor, Nonna Gleyzer, to keep herself in shape. Nonna talked about working with the model to British Vogue. “Gisele is a true athlete – she’s physically strong and has an incredible, deep mind-body connection. She works out on a regular basis. And she eats a lot! More than you and me put together!”
She Does Foot Exercises
Since Gisele spends a lot of time in heels, it’s important for her to have strong feet. Nonna tells British Vogue that she has the model do a lot of foot exercises. “Another thing we do a lot of are foot exercises because models have to walk in heels a lot – it’s really important to have strong muscles in the feet and flexibility in calf tendons, because when you walk in heels and the muscles get tight, it creates discomfort and can impact the knee.”
She Does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
In an Instagram post, as reported by British Vogue, Gisele revealed that she practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu. “I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox, the better,” she wrote in the caption. “I feel stronger, more confident and empowered since I started practicing self-defence. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but especially for us women.”
