Gisele Bündchen is sharing some inspirational words from late martial arts legend Bruce Lee. Bündchen, 43, posted a picture of herself sitting cross-legged in a yoga pose, gazing out towards a beautiful ocean view. “Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells, that’s why it’s called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life. -Bruce Lee 🙏🏼,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the supermodel stays well, happy, and content.
1. Partnership With Gaia Herbs
Bündchen is thriving in her 40s. “I’m feeling so much better at 43 than at 23,” she said at a panel discussion announcing her new partnership with supplement brand Gaia Herbs, via PEOPLE. “It’s amazing. I feel so much better — 40s are amazing. When I went to visit Gaia Herbs’ farm, it was incredible because I felt really good about the choices I’ve been making. I was like, ‘Good! I haven’t been intoxicating myself for the last 20 years, I feel better about myself.’ Imagine if I wasn’t, it would’ve been a problem. I would’ve noticed when I’m like 50 or 60.’“
2. Meditation and Sobriety
Bündchen swears by meditation and a sober life. “I meditate everyday, I exercise every day,” she said at the panel. “I’m just so grateful I have this body, I truly am. Now I’ve learned — because I wasn’t so good in my 20s or my teens — I realized my body is my temple and I really want to enjoy it. So for me, moving my body is huge. This is why I wake up at 5 a.m. This is why I’ve meditated for over 20 years. And when I don’t, I feel a huge difference. I haven’t drank alcohol in over two years and it’s amazing how much more clear [I feel].”
3. Aromatherapy Oils

Bündchen always carries aromatherapy oils with her when she travels. “I have a bunch of them for different reasons,” she told Vogue. “I have some with peppermint, but this is more ylang ylang and lavender.” She also swears by arnica. “I am a very athletic person so arnica is great for that… if you have injuries, it’s very helpful.”
4. Resistance Bands
Bündchen takes a resistance band with her when she’s on the road, so there’s always a good opportunity for a solid workout. “I had shoulder surgery, so I take little breaks throughout the day and do my shoulder exercises,” she told Vogue. “This little band is amazing.”
5. The Great Outdoors
As seen on her social media, Bündchen is happiest outdoors in the fresh air. “I grew up in a small town in the countryside of Brazil, and I have always loved being surrounded by nature,” she told Origin Magazine. “Nature is where I feel most comfortable; it’s where I find my balance.”
