Bri Teresi is heating up South Florida in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts the golf influencer shows off her incredible body in a bathing suit. “How’s your day going?” she captioned the Instagram post. “So beautiful,” one of her followers commented. “Absolutely gorgeous,” another added. How does the beauty maintain her fit physique? Celebwell compiled some of her top health habits.
1. She Hikes
Bri loves exercising outdoors. "[I stay in shape] by hiking,” she revealed during an Instagram Q&A. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
2. She Maintains a Healthy Diet
When it comes to food, you won’t find Bri on any crash diets. "I stay thin because I eat a healthy, balanced diet. It's not really about exercise for me," she said during the Q&A.
3. She Lifts Weights
Another fitness habit of Bri’s? “Weight lifting,” she said during the Q&A. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
4. She Does Yoga
Bri also does a lot of yoga. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”
5. She Golfs
Obviously, golf is a big part of Bri’s life and workout routine. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
