Golfer Patty Tavatanakit in Workout Gear Has an "Outstanding Performance"
Paphangkorn Tavatanakit (shortened two Patty) is a golf professional originally from Thailand, who competes in the LPGA, bringing home wins. As seen on Instagram, "@evianchamp gave it a good run but came up just a bit shy. Lots of positives to take from all the lip outs I've had this week🤣 looking forward to some time off before representing my country 🇹🇭 at the Olympics 😇 congrats @ayaka_furue27 🙌 #pattygolf," she said in a photo series of her golfing. Here's what Patty does to stay at the top of her game.
She looks up to her heroes for inspiration
She looks for inspiration and guidance. "As a Thai player, I grew up watching Ariya [Jutanugarn] and Moriya [Jutanugarn] play," she said. "They have always been inspired and an inspiration to all the young players in Thailand, so I just feel so honored to be recognized as one of the people who would make the game of golf in Thailand grow."
She's grateful for where her life has taken her
It's important to stay grateful for where you are in life. "Ever since I moved here to America, I really feel I have freedom to be myself. I feel the free spirits running inside my system a lot more than when I was in Thailand," she said. "And in that being said, it kind of meant just being who I am and not afraid to express my feelings, my opinions, my emotions and just be kind.
She's not worried about fitting in
She's confident in herself, and doesn't burden her thoughts with what other people think of her. "You don't have to necessarily say certain things to try to fit into society or you don't have to be certain ways to get acceptance from people," she said. According to UC Davis, "a new large research review conducted by psychologists at the University of California, Davis, and the University of Bern suggests that high self-esteem can have a positive influence in many areas of people's lives."
She sets goals for herself
She set goals to work towards and wants to inspire others. "I remember probably two, three years ago, just a sudden thought, I was like: 'Oh, I want to make an impact to the game of golf, to women's golf. And I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I really just want to make an impact'," she said.
She loves golfing, of course
It should come as no surprise that she truly enjoys golfing, and that's where a lot of her training lies. "This one is extra sweet🏆😍 it's been a long time coming, but so glad I got the job done ✅ hard work truly pays off! I'd like to thank my family, friends, sponsors, team and fans for their continuous support throughout my journey. Thank you @aramcoladiesint and @golf_saudi for an incredible week, can't wait to be back in the Middle East again❤️ #pattygolf #TeamTitleist #HanaBank #adidasgolf," she said on Instagram while kissing her trophy.
