Grace Charis Stuns in Golf Course Video and Reveals Her 5 Fitness Secrets

Here’s how she stays in shape.

Grace Charis Stuns in Golf Course Video and Reveals Her 5 Fitness Secrets
Grace Charis / Instagram

Grace Charis is more than just a golf influencer—she’s a powerhouse on and off the course. Known for blending her love of the sport with a lifestyle that keeps her fit and fabulous, Charis recently shared a video on Instagram, inviting followers to “Come play this par 3 with me!” Decked out in a sleek white visor, matching skirt, and light pink top, she showcased not just her swing but her toned physique. So, how does she stay in such great shape? From perfecting her golf game to hitting the gym, here are the five fitness habits that keep Grace Charis on top of her game.

She Golfs

Golf is the main way Charis keeps herself in shape. Better Health states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf provides a stimulating mental challenge combined with a healthy walk in pleasant surroundings and can be played by people of all abilities and ages. Golf can be played on your own or in a team. It may be a casual pastime or a competitive activity. Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

She Swims

Charis likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos and videos on Instagram of herself snorkeling in Japan. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of health benefits, including building your muscles. “The built-in resistance that water provides helps build muscles and makes you stronger. And because water is more resistant than air, swimming does this faster than land workouts like running and biking.”

She Lifts Weights

Charis shared some of her favorite workouts in this TikTok. In it, she is seen doing a lot of workouts with weights. According to ACE Fitness, using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Does Glutes Bridges

Charis is also seen doing glute bridges in her TikTok. NASM states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Glute bridges are a useful exercise for building core stability, building glute strength, and improving overall exercise form and function. When performed as a stabilization exercise, glute bridges activate the glutes to function as they are supposed to in other movements like squats, deadlifts, walking, and running. Adding weight progresses glute bridges into a strength exercise, which can build strength in the glute muscles. By increasing glute activation and strengthening the glutes, not only will your form get better in other exercises, but you might also gain the added benefit of reduced low back pain in your everyday life.”

She Does Lunges

Charis is also seen doing lunges with weights in her TikTok. Lunges are very beneficial. The Mayo Clinic reports, “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

5. She Uses A Rowing Machine

Hull shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram post. In two of the photos, she is seen on a rowing machine. Hull captioned the post, “Active is attractive.” The Cleveland Clinic states that using a rowing machine has a lot of benefits. “Like running or a session on an elliptical, rowing is a full-body workout. But unlike those activities, you don’t have to stand to do it. That means less pressure on your legs and more work for your upper body.”

2. She Challenges Herself

I tried and played everything! From gymnastics to surf lifesaving I was lucky to get exposed to many sports. I was naturally good at most sports, so it gave me a lot of confidence! My Dad encouraged me to take up golf and I was also motivated by my older brothers’ cute friends that played!! I found it very difficult in the beginning and it was not until I got professional instruction that I was able to hit the ball! I really enjoyed the challenge.”

Rawson broke down her diet with Women Fitness. “I now tend to eat many more vegetables and good fats,” she said. “I am less concerned with protein. When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes so I couldn’t have any sugar. It was the most amazing thing because I couldn’t care less about sugar now and I learned a lot about keeping my blood sugar balanced. I really think that’s the key to feeling great. A cancer survivor, Hart has a resilient spirit that drives her to maintain a rigorous workout routine, including five sessions a week with Orangetheory, personal training, and running. She also enjoys tennis and long walks with her dog, showing that variety keeps her fitness engaging and enjoyable. Here’s how Hart stays in shape and practices self-care.

1. She Survived Cancer

Doctor,With,Human,Thyroid,Anatomy,Model.,Hyperthyroidism,,Hypothyroidism,,Hashimoto,Thyroiditis,Shutterstock

Hart was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer when she was in college, on September 16, 2009. She underwent two surgeries, radioactive iodine treatment, and balanced her thyroid hormones post-thyroidectomy to beat cancer. During treatment, she played lacrosse for her Division I college, competing on her team all 4 seasons, she reveals on her website.

2. 5 Workout Sessions a Week

Karin works out 5 times a week. Her favorites are Orangetheory Fitness, training with her personal trainer, and using the Tone It Up app. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

3. Runs and Walks

She also enjoys going for runs and takes her dog on long walks in downtown St. Pete. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

4. Tennis

Golf isn’t the only country club sport Karin enjoys. She loves tennis. “How’s my serve? 😜🎾 #tennis #gamesetmatch #tennisbabes,” she captioned a post. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

5. Golf

Golf is Karin’s go-to sport. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

Here’s a glimpse into how she maintains her healthy, active lifestyle.

1. She Plays Golf

Naturally, playing golf is one of the main ways Tare stays in shape. According to Randa, golf is a great way to stay fit. “On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories. If you play golf for at least 150 minutes per week you are meeting WHO global exercise guidelines.”

2. She Works Her Core

Tare makes sure to stay in shape for golf. One thing she does is core workouts. Tare shared some of her favorites in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “‘It’s been 6 months since I joined the gym and still no progress. 3. She Uses Weights

Tare likes to use weights when she works out. She sometimes uses them when she is working her core. In this Instagram post, she is seen using weights to do crunches, throwing a weighted ball, and using weights to balance her arms. 4. She Challenges Herself

Tare talked about her career in an interview with the Golf 360 Podcast. She says that she made sure to challenge herself when playing golf. “I would always put myself with people who were better than me,” Tare revealed. “So I think that was where I learned the most. And I mean, because it's a male dominated sport a lot of the time, I ended up playing with the boys off the men's tee and stuff like that, and I think that actually really helped me. Then sometimes I would go into tournaments, end up on the women's tees, and it felt like a little bit easier for me, or high fives I knew I could reach into and stuff.”

5. She Swims

Tare loves to swim to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. Tare shared this video of herself diving into a lake in the Caribbean. Nelly Korda, a highly successful golf player, is currently enjoying a trip to Malaysia. She recently shared highlights of her trip on Instagram, where she can be seen on the golf course, at the beach, and relaxing with a coffee. Korda’s posts show her in various workout clothes, offering a glimpse into her lifestyle. Golf remains the primary way she stays in shape, but her approach to fitness goes beyond just the game. Korda focuses on perfecting her technique, grip strength, and impact during practice while incorporating different workouts, like squats and rowing, to stay fit off the course.

1. She Golfs

Golf is the main way Korda stays fit. Better Health states that the sport is very beneficial. “Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

2. She Focuses On Grip Strength

Korda shared some of the things that she works on when she practices with Golf Monthly. “The first thing you want to check is if you’re gripping it correctly, it makes a huge difference in your swing,” she said. “You could easily be too weak or too strong and it will affect where the face of the club is. So grip is important as well as stance and where your weight is. Once you get those fundamentals all down, it’s so much easier to work on consistency and easier to work on shooting lower numbers.”

3. She Focuses On Impact

Korda also told Golf Monthly that she also focuses on impact when she practices. “I am mainly just working on impact. On the putting green I do a drill because your eye-line and eyesight change every single day. You may see the ball and your line differently every single day, so doing a line drill is really important as you start your putting. Try it for five minutes to make sure you dial in your alignment. Once you do that, then you work on your distance.”

4. She Does Lunge Squats

Korda shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunge squats with kettlebells. Korda captioned the post, “2 weeks @ home to train. Let’s go!” Squats have a lot of benefits, according to Piedmont. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

5. She Uses A Rowing Machine

Nelly Korda.5Nelly Korda/Instagram

Korda is also seen on a rowing machine in her Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that this has a lot of health benefits. “Your abdominal muscles, lower back, obliques, glutes and hamstrings all get a workout during a session on a rowing machine. If you follow proper form, your core will be engaged during every single step of the rowing process. Strengthening those muscles is also key to maintaining stability and building speed.”
