1. She Found Balance

In 2012, Stefani appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she makes sure to find a balance between her work and her personal life. "It's, like, the real deal, dude," she says. "It's superfun being a mom, but it's hard too. Finding that balance between work and family is the hardest thing I've ever done—by far."

2. She Keeps Her Health & Wellness Simple

Stefani shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Shape. She says that she makes sure to live a healthy lifestyle, and that she also keeps her routine pretty simple. “I have no magic thing that I do to stay fit. I eat really clean, do my shows, and work out. I always feel better when I’m in a routine even though I sometimes hate it.”

3. She Stays Consistent

Stefani tells Shape that she’s all about staying consistent when it comes to fitness. “I always feel better when I’m in a routine even though I sometimes hate it,” she admits. “I play tennis badly, with Blake. Then we go to the gym. I like to do squats and lunges and light weights. I don’t go crazy like I used to. I do just enough to make my body feel good.”

4. She’s Organized

Stefani lives a busy life, which means she has to be organized. "One thing the kids have taught me is how to be more organized," she says to Shape. "I lived at home until I was 26, then I had a tour manager, then a manager, then an assistant. On tour, you even have somebody who has the key to your hotel room. But as a mom, you have to be the one in charge."

5. She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Stefani has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of her tips with Forbes. Stefani says that she keeps her skincare pretty minimal."Skin care is a moving target as you age. Your skin is always changing and evolving. And there are constantly new and improved products being released to try. I've always kept my skincare pretty simple and minimal though.”

6. She Keeps Her Skin Hydrated

Stefani tells Forbes that she makes sure to stay moisturized. "The one skincare rule that I love, especially as I've gotten older, is hydration. I like to keep my skin looking super dewy as opposed to matte, overly dry and powdered. I love using the GXVE All Time Prime face oil because it really helps give you that smooth, glowing, youthful look.”

7. She Changes Her Skincare

The 2023 CMT Music Awards - Red CarpetChristopher Polk/Getty Images

Stefani tells Forbes that she adjusts her skincare depending on what she needs for the day. "Everyone has days where your skin isn’t looking its best. On a day like that, I still make sure to do my regular [beauty] routine, but it really depends on what I have going on that day that determines how I treat it. If I’m going out or at a photo shoot or have a performance, I might switch out the type of foundation or concealer I use for something with a little more coverage. If I’m home with my family, I keep my routine simple and just embrace it and let it be.”

Emma Stone is one of the most beloved and iconic actresses of all time. She started out her career as a comedic and teen movie actress, starring in roles like Superbad, Zombieland, and Easy A, which earned her first award nomination. Stone then starred in more serious roles like The Help and Birdman, the latter earning her an Academy Award Nomination. She’d win the award in 2017 for the hit musical film La La Land. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Emma Stone stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Educates Herself

GREECE-CULTURE-CINEMA-PREMIEREARIS MESSINIS/AFP via Getty Images

In 2012, Stone opened up about skincare to Refinery29. She says that she has an interest in the subject and how she wants to study more about it. “I'm actually pretty interested in skin care, because I had bad hormonal acne when I was 17, and they put me on Accutane for it. After two months on the Accutane, I went off of it, and since then, my skin, my mouth, my lips, my eyes are all so dry. Then, I had stress acne when I was 20, when I did Easy A, which they kindly video-airbrushed out of the movie. But I realized how debilitating and embarrassing it can be to have cystic acne. So, I'm really interested in the biology of what makes up acne and how to work on it from the outside, too."

2. She Takes Care Of Acne

In her Refinery29, Stone talked about how she approaches acne. “Usually, I use tea tree oil. I can't go too crazy, or I'll get a rash. My skin is really sensitive. Whenever it's been really bad, I've gone to the dermatologist to get those cortisone shots. Those are amazing. They're kind of a miracle. But also kind of terrifying because this huge needle is coming at your face. But no pain, no gain!"

3. She Wears What She Wants

"When You Finish Saving The World" New York ScreeningCindy Ord/Getty Images

Stone doesn’t believe in beauty standards, or wearing certain things. She encouraged others to have the same approach when it comes to makeup in a 2013 Cosmopolitan interview. "I could care less,” she said. “I think women should wear whatever makeup they want for themselves. Makeup should be fun."

4. She Uses Single-Ingredient Products

Virgin,Olive,Oil,With,Fresh,Fruits,Isolated,On,White,Background.Shutterstock

Stone told Cosmopolitan that she has to pick specific skincare products to use. "I'm really allergic to a lot of stuff,” she explained. “So I can only use products with a single ingredient in it. I use a Burt's Bees cleanser and sometimes I exfoliate with baking soda or brown sugar. I like experimenting. I love coconut oil, Josie Maran Argan Oil, and olive oil—I have a big bottle of it on my sink and I put it all over my face and smell like focaccia...And it's really sexy [laughs]."

5. She Did Full-Body Workouts

The 2022 Met Gala Celebrating "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" - ArrivalsGotham/Getty Images

To play Billie Jean King in the film Battle of The Sexes, Stone had to get in shape. Her trainer, Jason Walsh, opened up about this process toELLE. Walsh said that he had Stone do a lot of full-body workouts. “We would do lots and lots of sled-pushing and pulling ‘cause that’s a full-body workout. It uses every muscle in the body. It stresses the body from the hands through the feet. And it’s also unilateral so there’s usually only one foot on the ground at a time, so it’s just a really good way to stress the body.”

6. She Ate Good Calories

Healthy,And,Unhealthy,Food,Background,From,Fruits,And,Vegetables,VsShutterstock

Walsh shared some of Stone’s diet to ELLE. He says that the actress made sure to eat clean and good calories. “It was probably 2500 or 3000 calories a day. She ate very well, and very clean, so it wasn’t like she was getting garbage calories in. We added a high-calorie shake twice a day."

7. She Drank Protein Shakes

Glass,With,Protein,Shake,,Jug,Of,Milk,And,Powder,OnShutterstock

Stone drank a lot of protein shakes to help her get in shape. Walsh shared her go-to recipe with ELLE. “I found a protein that is extremely good called Metabolic Way. The base was the protein, and we would add spinach and throw in three tablespoons of Udo's Oil, which is where the calories came from. We would also use Ashwagandha. I heard about it from a friend of mine who’s a mountain climber. They use Ashwagandha to help their bodies counter the stresses on the body and recover."

Lana Del Rey opened up about her career and what she’s learned in an interview with Rolling Stone. “I’m just really happy that I pushed through all those turbulent times that were sometimes brought upon by myself and sometimes were suppressed onto me by other people and things to the point that I’m just so lucky that my heart isn’t fragmented all over the world, bits of it with other people who it doesn’t belong to, that my head is clear enough to not have my self-will run riot all the time.”

11. Coco Jones

Coco Jones shared her morning wellness secrets with Byrdie. “Depending on how much sleep I got the night before, I work out in the morning because I feel like it wakes me up and it gets me ready for the day. I like how I look when I've been in the gym consistently. After that, I try to take a moment to read a devotional, do some journaling, or write a gratitude list before I start running around. I use this time to be grateful and to prepare my mind and my spirit for the day ahead. If you wake up and you just feel like it's going to be a bad day, that's probably how your day is going to pan out."

I’m no longer shy, but I’m not sure I would dream as big as I dream today if it were not for those awkward years in my head.”

Selena Gomez is known for being open about her life. She revealed why she does this to NPR. “The reason why I've become so vocal about the trials and tribulations of my life is because people were already going to narrate that for me,” she explains. “I wasn't going to have a choice because of how fast everything moves now. And most of the time, yes, it's not true, or it's an embellished version of what the truth is. I want to be able to tell my story the way that I want to tell it. And all of these things happened, and I wasn't going to deny that, I wasn't going to pretend to put a smile on when it actually was awful — a few of the worst moments of my life. And I don't know if I would have made it. And that's medical reasons, obviously, and emotional reasons. I just had to find a way to claim my story.”

14. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has amazing skin. Her makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, tells Refinery29 that the pop star uses vitamin C. “I love Ole Henriksen Truth Serum because it really boosts a nice, healthy glow. I press it into the skin with the Adore Cosmetics Palm Sonic to really help it absorb. It has a warm vibrating plate that pushes the product into the skin, then a cold one for any depuffing. You can sculpt the face with it — it feels so nice.”

Ally Brooke opened up about her solo career in an interview with HOLA! She says that she wants to embrace her Latin heritage in her music and is working on learning Spanish. “When you know who you are, you’re proud of your culture and all that, but the biggest thing is that you have trouble with the language and it just makes, for me, it makes me feel like I want to crawl out of my own skin. But being able to work on myself, to have time to work on Spanish and learning that, was a time that I’ve never had before and to be able to record a whole Spanish language album is something that is one of my proudest moments and something that feels so beautiful and wonderful to me. And I’m still working on speaking it, getting better and better.”

In an interview with Yahoo, Hayley Kiyoko shared some of her favorite wellness products. She says that she likes to take supplements. “I rely on a lot of things for energy. I bring a lot of Vimergy with me and I bring Mercury B12 and Vimergy Zinc — I do that every day. I also take five ginger shots every day and drink a beet juice every day which really gives me a lot of energy, especially since I don’t drink coffee. So basically, my energy routine is supplements and then having an iced matcha midday with almond milk.”

18. Hayley Williams

In an interview with Vulture, Hayley Williams talked about why she decided to write an op-ed for Paper Magazine about her struggles with depression. “I felt scared to talk about depression for a long time. When I wrote that, I hadn’t been diagnosed. I’m a smart enough person. I can think through what I’m going through even when I’m really down on myself. A lot of people with anxiety or depression are intellectual and can understand, but it’s bigger than that. It’s a chemical problem. I was realizing how out of my control it was. It mattered to talk about it. Getting that down in front of me was a turning point.”

19. Aly Michalka

Aly Michalka opened up about how she and her sister and bandmate, AJ, make new music in an interview with Atwood Magazine. “I think that it was the combination of really trusting our producer Yves, who continued to encourage us to kind of broaden our musical capabilities and and really embrace that,” Michalka says. “And then I think it was just where we were in life. At that point we had made a couple of EPs that had this kind of synth-pop aura and we wanted to steer away from that and get a little bit more grounded and back to our roots. And also make music that that we really, truly enjoy listening to as artists ourselves, you know. A lot of the groups that we tend to listen to on vinyl or in the car are alternative rock groups and we felt like we could do that with our music without completely abandoning our pop sensibilities. So it was kind of a journey for us to find that happy medium that, you know, some of the songs felt a little bit more alternative and then some of the other songs felt a little bit more pop or even folky.”

20. Ciara

In an interview with Shape in 2015, Ciara revealed how she lost the baby weight. She says that she works with Gunnar Peterson to help her stay in shape. "Gunnar puts me through an hour-long plyometric cardio circuit that always includes boxing elements. What's amazing is that you're getting three-in-one training: It's hitting your muscles; it's a cardiovascular workout; and it's a mental exercise. You have to be superfocused when you're boxing. After I've done a few rounds, I feel as if I can conquer the world."

Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
