Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet star in the movie Marty Supreme together, and it's safe to say there are many steamy scenes in the film. Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming film.

Gwyneth Paltrow Filmed "a Lot" of Sex Scenes With Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme

The 52-year old actress and Goop owner shared with Vanity Fair, "We have a lot of sex in this movie. There's a lot—a lot. There's now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed. I was like, 'Girl, I'm from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera's on.' We said, 'I think we're good. You can step a little bit back.' I don't know how it is for kids who are starting out, but… if someone is like, 'Okay, and then he's going to put his hand here,' I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that."

Paltrow jokingly added that, prior to filming the more intimate parts of the movie, she told Chalamet, "I was like, 'Okay, great. I'm 109 years old. You're 14.'"

The actress added, "I don't know how it is for kids who are starting out, but … if someone is like, 'Okay, and then he's going to put his hand here,' I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that."

Paltrow described 29-year old "Lady Bird" heartthrob Chalamet as a "thinking man's sex symbol." She added, "He's just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say kid. He's a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner."

The Plot of Marty Supreme

What exactly is Marty Supreme about? The A24 film spotlights a ping pong protégé, played by Chalamet, who competes overseas. Paltrow takes on the role of the wife of a rival pro and ends up getting into bed with Chalamet's character.

"This woman who is married to someone who is in the Ping-Pong mafia, as it were," the actress shared. "They meet and she's had a pretty tough life, and I think he breathes life back into her, but it's kind of transactional for them both."

The film will debut in theaters on December 25, 2025.
