Halle loves hot yoga. “Hot yoga kicked my ass 🥵,” she captioned a photo of herself in July post-sweat session. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

In their Teen Vogue interview, Halle and Chloe revealed one way that they infuse exercise into their busy schedules: Going for walks instead of driving. “Every morning we walk our little brother to school. That helps us start our day off nice and refreshed,” they said. When traveling for work, they also walk instead of hopping in cars. Halle also loves to run. They also “love to go running, around three times a week.” According to the Mayo Clinic, running is excellent for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Halle loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses.
