Hanna Cavinder in Bikini Says “Back to My Roots”

Hanna Cavinder is living her best lake life in a bikini. In a new social media post, the basketball star shows off her amazing body in an animal print swimsuit while vacationing at Paw Paw Lake in Michigan. “Back in my roots,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. Just weeks later, she and her sister Haley underwent boob jobs, showing off the results in another Instagram post. How does the influencer approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.
Prayer
In a YouTube video detailing their health habits, Hanna and her sister said they start their day with “no screen time,” “God’s word,” and devotionals. “I showed you guys like daily affirmations. I got a whole bunch of stuff like that for Christmas from Hailey and other people. So that’s number one is what we try to do in the morning. It’s less screen time.”
Hydration
The girls also “drink water by itself” in the morning. They “chug water right when we wake up” and focus on hydrating throughout the day. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters).
Protein
Hanna is all about protein, adding protein powder to pancakes and oatmeal. It not only tastes great but also fuels her up. She tries to focus her diet around “good protein, veggies, carbs, to focus on things that make our body feel good on the court, off the court, and just overall throughout our whole life.”
10,000 Steps Per Day
Hanna keeps track of her steps. “Another healthy habit that we try to do, even after a game, after anything, is to get a workout in get your body moving. Like I just love to move my body even like on an active rest day,” she said. “I always try to get my 10,000 steps. It’s not only good like physically but mentally. Like it’s something that’s really important. And I think like even just going outside, like moving, seeing the sunlight, like seeing the sunlight, like it just like helps and brings serotonin into your life.”
Strength Training
Hanna lifts weights four times a week. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and build lean muscle mass, and increase calorie burn. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
