Hayley Kiyoko is taking a hike in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the singer-slash-actress shows off her amazing body in workout gear as she gets some exercise in nature. “Been on this hike many times but today Becca and I decided to take a different path we’ve never tried before. Not sure where it was going to lead, we kept going. Sometimes in life it’s safer and easier to take the path already known. There’s a lot of fear and unknowns trying something new. Sometimes it can lead to a dead end and you have to turn around. But SOMETIMES, that new path can lead you to a field of yellow flowers everywhere. A super bloom. Blossoming and thriving. And my god, was it worth it,” she writes in the caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Breakfast

Hayley loves “waking up, taking my time, making tea, making breakfast” she told Elle about her “really great morning routine” which gives her “more happiness.” Her go-to meal? Two eggs over easy with hot sauce.

2. Tea

Hayley loves drinking tea. “So when I travel, I love to get mugs from where I've been and I got this in Porto in Portugal. But it's like always a nice like moment as you're drinking tea to remember those times of being able to travel and being outside,” she said. Should you sip on tea with your meals? Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.

3. Crystals

Hayley is a fan of crystals. “I have a lot of crystals in my home,” she says. “They're just awesome and they have like positive energy. And I think too, like when you're isolated or having to like self-care and self-soothe crystals can be so amazing. I mean, I definitely think that they're powerful, but they're also just like a physical reminder of what you need to work on and what you want to work on and what you need.”

4. Journaling

Hands,Writing,Travel,Journal,Tea,ConceptShutterstock

Journaling is another one of Hayley’s self-care rituals, “if I have time in the morning,” she says. “I love to journal and just kind of check in with myself. I've noticed that when I don't check in with myself, I'll have a mental breakdown or like have some form of repercussions if I don't check in with myself and just kind of be like, ‘Hey, this is how you're feeling or how are you feeling?’ I feel like a lot of the time we don't even ask ourselves how we are feeling. And so I think it's just really important to continue that dialogue and continue that practice of conversation.”

5. At-Home Workouts

Hayley also enjoys at-home workouts. “It's been really good though to be able to work out and not leave my house. 'cause honestly, when I did have to leave my house, I'd always be like 10 to 15 minutes late so I wouldn't have to work out as long. And now I have to hold myself accountable,” she says.

6. Hiking

In her recent post Hayley hikes. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Danielle Campbell is a versatile and accomplished actress who has captivated audiences with her roles in Disney Channel’s Starstruck, the feature film The Prom, and the popular series The Originals. Currently, she stars in the ABC series, The Rookie. Last month, Campbell delighted her fans by sharing hiking photos on Instagram, captioning them, “Love taking hikes to avoid responsibilities. Highly recommend it.” Wondering how she stays in such great shape? Read on to discover five ways Danielle Campbell keeps fit, along with the photos that showcase her fitness routine.

1. She Hikes

As you can see from her post, Campbell likes to hike to stay in shape. According to Piedmont, hiking has a lot of benefits. “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise, which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight.”

2. She Works Her Legs

In this TikTok, Campbell is seen working out in the gym. She made sure to not skip leg day. Campbell is seen doing leg motions from a plank and donkey kicks. Piedmont reports that lower body workouts are important. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups. Improve your balance. Strengthen your bones. Reduce joint pain. Reduce your risk of injury, particularly in your back and knees.”

3. She Lifts Weights

In the TikTok, Campbell is seen doing deadlifts with two kettlebells. Strength training workouts, like these, have a lot of benefits. The Mayo Clinic reports, “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities.”

4. She Bikes

Campbell likes to ride bikes to stay in shape. She shared this photo of herself and a friend riding near the beach. A Healthier Michigan states that biking has a lot of benefits. “All that work your body is doing by pedaling and balancing not only works muscles in your arms and core, but it counts as serious cardio exercise and burns calories with every spin of the wheels. By biking at a moderate pace, about 12 or 13 miles per hour, a person weighing 155 pounds burns nearly 300 calories in 30 minutes, according to statistics shared by Harvard University. Like to pedal faster? A person of that same weight doing a fast pace of 14 or 15 miles per hour burns more than 370 calories in 30 minutes.”

5. She Swims

Campbell is seen swimming in this video she posted on Instagram. Better Health states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness, helps you maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs, tones muscles and builds strength, provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of your muscles are used during swimming.”

Lucy Hale is a very successful actress. She is best known for her role as Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars. She’s also known for playing the title character in Katy Keene, and for starring in A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song. Hale recently hit the gym, and shared a photo of herself working out on Instagram. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lucy Hale stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Has A Simple Skincare Routine

Hale shared her skincare secrets with WhoWhatWear. She says that her routine has become simpler. “I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older that my skin just can’t handle too much, and I’ve had to really cut back. I mean, I used to be the girl who had a 15-step skincare routine every single night. My whole approach to skincare now is really about consistency and less about the number of products I’m using.”

2. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Natural,Vitamin,C,Serum,,Skincare,,Essential,Oil,Products.,Cosmetic,BrownShutterstock

Hale shared her morning skincare routine with WhoWhatWear. “I like to start by using a gentle cleanser to really get off all of my products from the night before and any oil that’s built up. Next, I’ll do a toner, and then it depends, but typically every other day, I’ll either use a vitamin C serum or a hyaluronic acid serum, or sometimes I’ll just kind of mix them together. I don’t really need to add a lot more moisture since my skin naturally produces quite a bit of oil, so I just put on that SPF, and that’s pretty much it for the morning.”

3. She Hikes

Hale likes to hike to stay in shape. She tells WhoWhatWear that she aims to hike every day. “I love having slow mornings. I've found that not having to rush really kick-starts my mood in the right way. I try to hike every day. There’s a canyon near where I live, and that’s sort of my ‘me’ time.”

4. She Strength Trains

Hale shared some of her fitness secrets with Shape. She says that she likes to strength train. "I do a lot of strength training because I like to feel strong. I'm 5-foot-2, but I like to feel like a badass and to know that I could kick someone's ass. So I do pull-ups and do squats with the big-boy weights. I even flipped one of those big tires once.”

5. She Does Pilates

Lucy.HaleLucy Hale/Instagram

Hale is a big fan of Pilates. She tells Shape, “I just discovered Pilates. My butt has never been higher, and my abs have never been stronger. Our bodies are so amazing and resilient, and we don't give them enough credit. I spent much of my teen years and early 20s not loving my body and not being good to it. I'm trying to make up for that because we get only one body. We have to take care of our temple."

Katelyn Ohashi is a former UCLA gymnast, who went viral for one of her competition routines. Since then, she’s gotten a large following on social media. She shared a video on Instagram in May of herself on the balance beam. Ohashi captioned the post, “Old dog, new tricks.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Katelyn Ohashi stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Gymnastics

Ohashi might not be a competitive gymnast, however, she’s still using some of her skills. Gymnastics Victoria states that the sport can help with flexibility. “A large amount of time is spent on improving flexibility in gymnastics training. For competitive gymnasts this means improving leaps and jumps. For recreational and adult gymnasts this is about improving the flexibility of muscle groups in order to prevent injury. The more flexible a person's muscles are, the less likely they are to strain or tear a muscle completing everyday tasks.”

2. She Bikes

While in Amsterdam, Ohashi did some biking around the city. In the first photo in this Instagram post, she is seen biking. Ohashi captioned the post, “Not really sure how to describe it but the stories will always live in my heart. Amsterdam and a little stockholm.” A Healthier Michigan states that biking has a lot of benefits. “Everyone thinks about biking as great for your legs, and it is, but it’s also good for your balance. Cycling engages your abdominal muscles as you balance and steer, go up hills and around corners, according to information shared by the Cleveland Clinic. It can help improve not only your balance, but your coordination and your posture.”

3. She Swims

Ohashi spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do is go swimming. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself wading in Cannes. Swimming.org states that the sport is a full-body workout. “Swimming uses all the muscles in the body so whether you swim a gentle breaststroke or hammer butterfly, you will get a full body workout. Plus, exercising in water makes your body work harder so 30 minutes in a pool is worth 45 minutes of the same activity on land.”

4. She Hikes

Another outdoor workout Ohashi likes to do is hike. She shared these photos of herself hiking in Lake Serene. Ohashi captioned the post, “Worth every mile you think you’re almost there.” Piedmont reports that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers.”

5. She’s Embracing Herself

Words,Eating,Disorder,With,Highlighter,And,Measuring,TapeShutterstock

Ohashi is open about her struggles with body image and an eating disorder. She opened up about finding self-love to Walden Eating Disorders. “I’ve been consumed with the thought that bigger is synonymous to less than, That only those people with the right, perfect bodies have the right to stand. But here today, I stand, with the love that penetrates deeper than any wedding band. Because I am my own size, and no words or judgmental stares will make me compromise. For the bittersweet satisfaction that lays between my eyes and my thighs. I finally got my cake and ate it too; for my old self cries. And today, my self-hatred said its goodbyes.”

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet

“I love green juices and smoothies. Sometimes I’ll put some protein powder in the morning—I feel like the mix of vegetables, and vitamins and stuff that’s in them, really gives me a lot of energy in the morning. I love BBQ food—my ultimate cheat is a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and macaroni and cheese from this great place in LA,” she told Men’s Fitness.

Strength Training

Ratchford also lifts weights. “Initially, I made the mistake that a lot of girls do and I was only doing cardio. I just really didn’t see too much change in my body. I’ve been listening to my girlfriends who are in great shape and they say you have to do weight training, you have to go in and do squats. That’s my new thing—I’ve been doing some resistance training, circuit training,” she told Men’s Fitness. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills
