Here are her diet and fitness habits

Heather Graham is looking ageless in her bikini. In a new social media post, the Hollywood star shows off her amazing figure in a skimpy swimsuit while vacationing in Europe with Jane Seymour and Debra Fisher. “Got to explore beautiful Sardinia with my friend @debrajfisher. ❤️💃🏼💃🏻💫@janeseymour came along for part of our adventure. I admire her long career and her #joiedevivre. How the hell does she look so good? I’m asking for her secrets.✨The sea is so beautiful and the food is so good,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the actress look half her age at 55? Here are her diet and fitness habits.

1

Meditation

Heather is a longtime fan of transcendental meditation. “I’m kinda high-strung, so it’s easy to get anxious. But TM calms you down. It helps you find that peaceful place inside yourself – so whenever your life is going a bit crazy, it reminds you how to be really centered,” she told Today. “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic.

2

Yoga

Heather relies on intense and long yoga sessions to stay in shape. “I’m obsessed with yoga. For fun, I would go on a yoga retreat and do four hours of yoga a day,” she told Refinery29. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years gained less weight during middle adulthood,” says Harvard Health. People who were overweight lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMI) than those who did not. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

3

Pilates and Dancing

Graham might go to a Pilates class instead of a bar. “I also like going out dancing,” she told Refinery. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

4

Sleep

Heather makes sure to get enough rest. “I love sleeping,” Heather confessed to The Guardian. “When I tell people how much I sleep sometimes, they are horrified. I basically sleep between nine and 12 hours a night.” The Sleep Foundation explains that getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

5

Walking

Heather loves walking on the beach. Going for a daily walk can be a game-changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

6

No Complex Carbs

Heather avoids complex carbohydrates. “I’ve become one of those annoying people who’s like, ‘I’m not gonna eat white flour and I’m not gonna eat sugar.’ I do eat sugar sometimes, but as a broad rule, I try to just eat no sugar basically, and I have to say I feel a lot better. And I will sometimes eat things with white flour, but I try to avoid white flour,” she explained to Refinery29.
