Heidi Klum Takes A Dip In The Pool & Drinks A Smoothie In A Bikini

The model and Project Runway host shared a new photo on Instagram.

Heidi Klum is currently hosting the rebooted version of Project Runway on Freeform. She’s also been sharing a lot of bikini posts on Instagram. Recently, Heidi shared a photo of herself in the pool drinking a smoothie. In it, she wore a lavender bikini, showing off her figure. Heidi captioned the post, “Yummy.” How exactly did Heidi Klum get her model good looks? Here are 5 of her secrets, and the photos that prove they work.

1

She Gets Massages Done

One of Heidi’s skincare and wellness secrets is getting massages done. “I try to do it like once a week, or once every two weeks,” she says to Byrdie. “It’s not for the pampering reason, and it’s not so much that I like to be moisturized from head to toe. It’s really deep tissue, because you move your cells under the skin. It activates everything.”

She Takes Supplements

One way Heidi ensures that she eats a healthy diet is by taking supplements. “Often, I’ll find the time to do the prep (like put chia seeds in to soak overnight), but not everyone has the time and freedom to do things like this, especially as we get older,” she explains to WhoWhatWear. “I find that a supplement is a great add-on to my already pretty healthy diet. A couple of years ago I started taking one Perfectil a day because I was getting older and thought, ‘What do I have to lose?!’ Of course, no pill will solve your beauty problems. Food always comes first, but I do think it’s a good boost.”

She Loves Coconut Oil

Heidi shared some of her favorite beauty products with WhoWhatWear. “I love using just plain, old coconut oil that you get in the supermarket. Especially in Los Angeles right now, everything is so dry and I’m outside a lot. I love to lather up some coconut oil in my hair and on my body too. It’s so inexpensive and it just makes everything feel so yummy and nourished.”

4

She Cooks

Heidi shares some of her favorite healthy meals to cook with Byrdie. “I think it’s important to eat healthy things. Sometimes people are like, ‘I eat good. I eat salad all the time.’ And then I dig deeper, and I’m like, ‘Okay, what salads do you eat? Like a Caesar salad with romaine?’ It’s the lightest leaf, there’s nothing in it… so maybe you have to revisit your salads. The darker the leaf, the better. Or red leaves, or a lot of herbs you can put in the salads, garlic. I’m on this bone broth [streak] right now. I make my own. It’s so simple, and I believe it’s really good for you.”

She Doesn’t Do Intense Workouts

When it comes to working out, Heidi believes in gentle workouts. “I feel like that’s why I don’t have so many back pains or knee pains,” she says to Byrdie. “I don’t run five gazillion miles because I feel like I don’t want to over-exhaust my body so much. I think it’s good to run in order to have your heart going a little faster, but to me I think you have to listen to your body and what feels right. I think that’s the most important thing.”
