1. Sunny Anderson Loves Protein-Packed Smoothies

Food Network star Sunny Anderson shared her favorite nutrient and protein-packed smoothie recipe with EatingWell.
"Since I've gotten older now, I want to get more nutrients in me. And drinking them is the easiest way to do it. You can put blueberries and strawberries with anything green, and you don't even notice the green. So I'll make a smoothie and drink that for breakfast," she told the outlet.

2. Jason Mraz Starts Each Day With Some Avocado

Jason Mraz loves kicking off each day with avocado, whether it's incorporated into a fresh smoothie or on toast.
"For many, many years it was an avocado smoothie," he told EatingWell. "In fact, my green smoothie is still on the EatingWell website. I still do that, but in the past year I really got into baking and I make my own sourdough bread. So I'll start my day with a slice of sourdough, sometimes with avo on it, sometimes with peanut butter or honey. I just love that sourdough with my coffee on the side. It just makes me feel like a real hipster."
3. Dylan Dryer Is a Fan of a Fresh Citrus-y Smoothie
Dylan Dryer gets in her protein and vitamin C in the morning with a refreshing citrus-y smoothie.
"I'll put in some oranges, frozen bananas and some frozen mango to add some sweetness to it," she told EatingWell. "And I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk to mix it all together. It tastes like a creamsicle-flavored smoothie, but it's got two whole oranges in it, so it really has a lot of that vitamin C. [My kids] don't really even like orange juice, but when I give them this smoothie, they think they're getting something fancy because it tastes like a milkshake."

4. Kym Johnson Whips up Healthy Banana Pancakes

Professional dancer Kym Johnson shared her protein-packed morning meal with EatingWell, which includes collagen coffee, a breakfast smoothie, and healthy banana pancakes topped with Greek yogurt.
"I start by drinking room-temperature water every day because it's beside my bed anyway. And then I have to have a coffee, but I put collagen powder in it and it's become a ritual. I make a nice breakfast smoothie for the kids and for myself with lots of spinach in it. I add blueberries, bananas, some strawberries—we all have that drink in the morning. I think it's a good way to start the day, and quite often I'll have my banana pancakes that I make with just one banana and one egg. You mix it together, put coconut oil in the pan and that's it. They're the best and it's an easy go-to breakfast, with a bit of Greek yogurt on top and some berries. That's something the kids love to help me make as well."

Then I toss in a ripe (but not too ripe) banana, peanut butter powder for that nutty richness with less fat and a scoop of protein powder—plant-based or whey, depending on my mood.
