House of the Dragon's Ellora Torchia in Two-Piece Workout Gear Does Handstand

"What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.”

Ellora Torchia is best known for her role on House of The Dragon—you love her as Kat, Hugh's wife and a devoted mom. (We loved her in Midsommar, rest in peace Connie.) In February, she shared a video on Instagram of herself doing handstands. She captioned the post, "Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness. What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself."

She Boxes

Torchia likes to box to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself sparring with a trainer on set. Torchia captioned the post, "Still thinking about my session with @tearebenjamin @boxingwithbenji 🫶🏽☀️🥊🥊 soo much JOY x." According to The Cleveland Clinic, boxing has a lot of benefits. "Boxing combines punching drills and conditioning exercises that can improve your heart health, strength, endurance, balance and coordination," physical therapist, James Edwards, DPT, says. "It can also reduce stress, anxiety and depression and improve your confidence and overall well-being."

She Hikes

Torchia likes to go for hikes to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself in the mountains. Torchia captioned the post, "HagHer mountains; we climbed the highest peak at 1536m and camped at the top." She also shared these photos of herself hiking by the ocean. Harvard Health states that hiking has a lot of benefits. "A rigorous hike may offer many of the same physical benefits as interval training, which alternates low- and high-intensity exercise to increase cardiovascular fitness. During a hike, your heart rate goes up as you move up an incline and drops when you head downhill."

She Swims

Torchia likes to swim to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself by the water. Torchia also shared this photo of herself walking in the ocean. She captioned that post, "The day I saw 6 stingrays (!) but took no photos." Better Health states that swimming is a great activity. "Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good."

She Cooks

Torchia shares a lot of her favorite recipes on Instagram. In this video, she made a Palestinian dish. Torchia captioned the post, "This is Ergag Be Adas/ Irkak o Adas/ Rashta ♥️ (well, my take on it! – less soupy and no coriander leaves as Kit isn't a fan!) but here's the story..I ate this the first time in 2016, in Lebanon's Shatila Refugee Camp with my Palestinian friends family who made me this steaming plate of food after a day of being busy with her and some wonderful children. I was blown away. Something so simple, so cheap.. SO delicious!😋 Anyway, I wrote the recipe down almost immediately and since .. it's become a favourite when we're in need of comfort food. If you fancy trying it, send me a message and I can send you my scribbles x"

She Bikes

Torchia likes to bike ride to stay in shape. She shared this reel on Instagram of herself and a friend biking through London. Torchia captioned the post, "1st lil bike tour with @nanoublairgould 🫶🏽 Aug 23 – attempting London to Geneva." She also shared this photo of herself with her bike. Torchia captioned the post, "Me in my ridiculous gear… padded shorts .. I mean, they're not all they're made out to be.. I can tell you.. #chaffing LOL."
