The 79-year-old actress, singer, and producer has accomplished so much in her career, including winning Best Supporting Actress at the 1970 Oscars for her role in Cactus Flower. Other notable films Hawn has starred in include The First Wives Club, Private Benjamin, Death Becomes Her, Snatched, and The Christmas Chronicles 2. At 79, the star still has a stunning physique. Here are just a few of her secrets to staying strong and sculpted in her 70s.

1. She Walks

Hawn previously shared some of her go-to workouts on Instagram. One easy yet effective exercise the star enjoys doing? Good, old-fashioned walking.

"Walking is the most important thing you can possibly do," Hawn says in the video. "If you don't want to walk forward, you can always walk backward, because when you walk backward, you're using a whole different part of your brain. It's amazing."

2. She Uses a Mini Trampoline

The mini trampoline is a great low-impact piece of workout equipment—and Hawn seems to appreciate the hype. In the same video, she's seen bouncing up and down on one.

"You can jump on your trampoline; if you don't have one, just bounce up and down like this," she says in the video. "It really is so great for your lymph system. Put your arms up, because when you do, and work your arms, it works your heart, too."

3. She Weight Trains

In addition to utilizing her body weight, Hawn uses "weights"—but not the traditional dumbbells you may be picturing! In her Instagram video, the actress performs shoulder presses and lateral raises with bottles of wine.

She captioned the clip, "Research shows that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional wellbeing. Physical exercise can help boost our mood, concentration, and also help us achieve a positive outlook on life."

4. She Loves Juicing

Hawn makes sure to consume a healthy diet. To her, that means including a lot of fresh juice. In fact, she revealed that she sips green juice daily.

"I think we overeat," Hawn told PEOPLE. "I do a lot of juicing, I don't put a lot of food in my stomach and I don't mix my foods too much. So if I want to have like protein I'll just eat a bowl of lentils, I won't mix it with a bunch of stuff."

5. She Begins Each Day With Breathing Exercises and Stretches

Hawn has her morning routine down pat. Instead of rushing out of bed, she takes some moments for herself. In an Instagram video, the actress walks viewers through her routine, which includes deep breathing and stretching.

She captioned the post, "We're continuing our @mindup video series for Mental Health Awareness Month, with a peek into my morning routine! Starting each day with deep breaths, gratitude, and stretches to set the tone for a good day, one mindful moment at a time."

6. She Interval Trains

When Hawn doesn't have much time to work out, she turns to interval training.

"If I don't have an hour, I'll do 15 minute intervals," she shared with PEOPLE. "Actually, it's a very good thing to do. If you're taxing yourself too much in an hour, you're taxing a lot of things."
