It's no secret the actress has maintained an amazing figure throughout her career and knows how to show it well. Keeping up with a sculpted bod isn't all fun and games, though—it requires hard work and dedication. Here are some of Jessica Alba's wellness tips for staying in shape and feeling good at 43.

She Cycles

One of Jessica's go-to ways of working out appears to be cycling; she pairs her stationary bike sessions with virtual workouts.

In one Instagram post, the celeb sweats while performing an intense cycling session. She captioned it, "Morning sweat. Kicking off the new year. #WellnessWednesday."

In another clip, Jessica is back at it. She captioned the post, "It's a new week [calendar emoji] let's get it off to a strong start [flex and bike emojis] #mantramonday: you can and you will. because you're bad a** like that & with this week comes new strength and new thoughts."

Cycling is considered an aerobic exercise. It strengthens the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. It's a great low-impact form of exercise.

She Does Interval Training

Jessica revealed she performs interval training to stay fit. In fact, when she only has a bit of time to spare, this is how she spends it.

The actress wrote in an Instagram post, "30 min cardio -when you you only have 30 min to get it in—check out my stories to get my 30 min interval treadmill cardio. I have bad knees so the incline and treadmill is the only way I can."

She Takes Fitness Classes

Another motivating factor that keeps Jessica on track with her fitness routine? Group classes.

"I'm not going to lie," Jessica told Popsugar. "Working out sucks. Which is why I love taking classes, because I'm surrounded by other people and that keeps me motivated and accountable. These days, I do power yoga with light weights in a 105 degree room, so it's a mix of hot yoga and strength training. I also spin. The key for me is good music, like 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyoncé."

The actress also told the outlet, "I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and strength training I did while filming Dark Angel. That's made me strong and really set the bar."

She Meditates

Practicing meditation is a huge part of Jessica's overall wellness routine.

"When I need to zone out and quiet my mind, I listen to a meditation podcast from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center," she shared with Popsugar. "Each one is literally just three minutes long, so I can go into a bathroom stall or do it in my car. But I'm really intrigued by Transcendental Meditation. Everyone I know who does TM has this inner peace and a glow. I want that."
