1. Snowboarding

Hilde is a snowboarder. “Ready for first tracks,” she captioned an Instagram Story shared from Lake Louise, Canada. “Had the best day summer snowboarding,” she captioned another post. workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. 2. Hiking

While in Canada she also went kayaking, a great workout due to the rowing. Kayaking is a great workout. Not only is it great for building upper body strength and helps reduce stress, but can burn up to 400 calories per hour, translating to 1,600 calories in four hours of paddling.

4. Coffee

Hilde is a coffee drinker. During a trip to Bali she shared an Instagram Stories clip of her espresso shot. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

5. Strength Training

Hilde is a big fan of lifting weights. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
