Tabitha Swatosh is rounding up her 2024 photos! In a new social media post the influencer shows off her amazing figure in a variety of looks – including bathing suits and two-piece exercise sets – as she gives her followers a glimpse of what she did over the past year. “season ‘24 ep 12 dump ✨ what. a. year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Ballet
Tabitha enjoys dancing. “it’s never too late to become a ballerina 🩰,” she captioned an Instagram post. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.
Tennis
Tabitha enjoys hitting the court for a game of tennis. “Last tennis lesson before going to the Olympics. (needless to say i didn’t make the 2024 Olympics, i am just watching) 🎾,” she captioned another one. According to ACE Fitness, it blends cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility, and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
Baths and Books
Two healthy habits that Tabitha uses to unwind? Baths and books. After a long weekend she took solace in a good book and a soak in the bathtub. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Golf
Tabitha enjoys golfing. “Your golf cart passenger princess ⛳️,” she captioned a post. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
Basketball
Tabitha recently “learned how to dunk a ball 🏀✨🤍.” “Basketball promotes speed, agility, strength, power and endurance. It [has] also been shown to increase flexibility and motor coordination. As a result, basketball is uniquely oriented to improve fundamental motor skills that are shown to be beneficial in promoting general health,” Koco Eaton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon, founder of Eaton Orthopaedics and a former basketball player, tells Nike.
