"I finally, after years of hard work to overcome my mental illnesses, feel my strongest again both mentally and physically. I've worked hard to continue to push weight out of the desire to simply feel strong again, not to chase a certain body type. With this has brought a lot of negative criticism about my body and assumptions being made. Thank you for sticking beside me through this journey. To have your support through it all has left me with so much gratitude for you, I'll never be able to properly express it."


She Works Her Legs

Simmons shares a lot of her workouts for specific body parts on her Instagram. In this post, she shared her lower body workout. As you can see in a lot of her Instagram posts, Simmons does a lot of weight training. The Mayo Clinic states that using weights has a lot of benefits.
