Fashion Model Irina Shayk, lives life to the fullest. “The giving of ❤️,” she said on a series of photos on Instagram of her posing confidently, spending time with wildlife, eating good food, relaxing on the beach with coconut water and more, showing a snippet of her life. Here’s how Irina stays looking and feeling her best.
She's Inspired
She’s inspired by outstanding people in the industry. “From Korea to London… Honored to be a part of the most incredible show of Mowalola, a woman of rare talent with a unique vision. She gives voice to so many people and to the young generation through her fashion, i admire her strength, creativity and free spirit. U R FOREVER 👑 @mowalola 👑 @haleywollens @isamayaffrench @mischanot @cyndiaharvey,” she said on Instagram.
She Sleeps
She prioritizes not just getting rest, but getting enough. Some might argue more than enough. “The key to the perfect look is enough sleep. I try to sleep at least nine hours before an important event. When I wake up I like to go to the gym and to a steam room — it gives me great energy and makes skin look perfect. For the red carpet I prefer to wear minimum make-up – I love a natural radiant look,” she said to Vogue Australia.
She Finds Balance
No DietsShutterstockShe aims to live a balanced lifestyle, not putting too many restrictions on her eating habits. “I don’t believe in diets, I think food is an important part of one’s life and it makes a person happy, so I find a balance between eating and working out,” she said to Vogue Australia.
She's Mentally Strong
In addition to being physically strong, she’s driven and mentally strong, as well. “I started quite late — when I was 19 — and my first model trip was to Paris. It was a difficult but very intense time — I had to learn how to work as a model, learn English, learn how to pose… But in life nothing comes easy and you have to work hard to achieve something,” she said to Vogue Australia.
She Works Out
She enjoys walking and practicing pilates, in addition to other workouts. “I like to do pilates [reformer], work out with my trainer and walk a lot,” she said to Vogue Australia. According to Better Health, “the health benefits of pilates include improved flexibility, balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body, improved posture, improved concentration, increased body awareness, stress management and relaxation,” and more.
