Here’s how Irina stays looking and feeling her best.

She's Inspired

She’s inspired by outstanding people in the industry. “From Korea to London… Honored to be a part of the most incredible show of Mowalola, a woman of rare talent with a unique vision. She gives voice to so many people and to the young generation through her fashion, i admire her strength, creativity and free spirit. U R FOREVER 👑 @mowalola 👑 @haleywollens @isamayaffrench @mischanot @cyndiaharvey,” she said on Instagram.

She Sleeps

She prioritizes not just getting rest, but getting enough. Some might argue more than enough. “The key to the perfect look is enough sleep. I try to sleep at least nine hours before an important event. When I wake up I like to go to the gym and to a steam room — it gives me great energy and makes skin look perfect. For the red carpet I prefer to wear minimum make-up – I love a natural radiant look,” she said to Vogue Australia.

She Finds Balance

She aims to live a balanced lifestyle, not putting too many restrictions on her eating habits. “I don’t believe in diets, I think food is an important part of one’s life and it makes a person happy, so I find a balance between eating and working out,” she said to Vogue Australia.

She's Mentally Strong

In addition to being physically strong, she’s driven and mentally strong, as well. “I started quite late — when I was 19 — and my first model trip was to Paris. She Works Out

She enjoys walking and practicing pilates, in addition to other workouts. “I like to do pilates [reformer], work out with my trainer and walk a lot,” she said to Vogue Australia. Irina Shayk is an extremely successful model. She’s best known for appearing in Sports Illustrated. Shayk recently shared a photo on her Instagram story. In it, she posed in black workout gear, showing off her impressive figure. Shayk captioned the post, “Gym with a view.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Irina Shayk stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Motivates Herself To Work Out

Shayk makes sure to work out regularly. She shared how she motivates herself to do so in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle. “I have good genes but of course you have to push yourself to go to the gym,” she says. “My other problem is I love to eat, I love my food. I love hamburgers, I love chicken nuggets. If you decide that you want to eat all those crazy meals, you have to balance with working out, so you always have to motivate yourself. You cannot wake up and see yourself in the mirror and think ‘I look great so I can just relax’, you have to always push yourself to be better.”

2. She Doesn’t Deprive Herself

Flat,Lay,Composition,With,Delicious,Fast,Food,Menu,On,LightShutterstock

Shayk shared her diet secrets with Yahoo Lifestyle. She says that she believes in indulging once in a while. “Two times a week I have a cheat day. You have to remember that if you want to eat burgers, or chocolate or candy, you have to eat it for breakfast or at lunchtime, never in the evening. Probably twice a week I eat red meat and hamburgers. You have to balance between working out and eating.”

3. She Drinks The Right Beverages

Refreshing,Green,Tea,In,Cup,And,Leaves,On,Wooden,Table,Shutterstock

Shayk shared some of the beverages she drinks, and the ones she avoids, with Yahoo Lifestyle. “You have to drink a lot of water and green tea. You have to remember that our bodies contain so much water and it’s great for your skin. You have to eat a lot of greens, and fresh green juices. Also, you have to stay away from the coffee! I don’t like it and I drink it like once a week maybe. Just drink a lot of water, it’s good for your body.”

4. She Loves Jiu-Jitsu

Shayk revealed to Women’s Health that she loves to do jiu-jitsu to stay in shape. “I hate traditional cardio. Running is my worst nightmare, so I’ve had to find something I enjoy that gets me all the calorie-burning benefits of cardio without boring me to death. Four months ago I started jiu-jitsu with my personal trainer and it’s great. It’s a Japanese self-defence discipline, but because there’s so many possible move combinations, it’s brilliant for constantly challenging my body and pushing it to exhaustion every time.”

5. She Does Barre Workouts

IrinaIrina Shayk/Instagram

Shayk also told Women’s Health that she loves to do barre exercises. “If I'm traveling, I try to work out in my hotel room or at work during breaks, focusing on simple barre moves that don’t need any equipment and really work my arms and bum. These lengthening exercises also help to stretch me out and help clear any water retention, which I tend to get after long-haul flights. Grabbing workout time whenever I can means constantly carrying my kit around with me, so I’ve totally embraced athleisure – if I can turn up to a shoot in the same chic clothes I can wear to exercise, it saves me so much time and effort!”

"I work out a lot. I do boxing," Shayk told People. “I hate traditional cardio. Running is my worst nightmare, so I’ve had to find something I enjoy that gets me all the calorie-burning benefits of cardio without boring me to death,” she added to Women’s Health, revealing that she does jiu-jitsu with her personal trainer. “It’s a Japanese self-defense discipline, but because there’s so many possible move combinations, it’s brilliant for constantly challenging my body and pushing it to exhaustion every time. 3. She Does Barre Workouts

I may not be able to drive a car, but I’m a trained Open Water Diver and it’s an unforgettable experience every single time,” she told Women’s Health. “Every time I travel, I try to get to the sea and explore that part of the world underwater. They say divers have more life experience than those who don’t because it teaches you to appreciate the world we live in from a completely different perspective.”

5. Her Diet Is All About Balance

When it comes to her diet, Irina eats what she wants a lot of the time. “Give me a burger and I’ll follow it up with a piece of cake. In fact, two days ago I had a huge burger with cheese, French fries, lots of ketchup and mayo and a large Sprite,” she told Women’s Health. “But in the name of balance, I got up the next morning, did 30 minutes of barre in my room and ate steamed fish and grilled vegetables for dinner. I'm from Russia, so I've been brought up on hearty food like meat and dumplings and potato stews in big warming portions, but if I’m preparing for a shoot or show, I’ll eat particularly clean – salads and soups – to ensure a flat stomach. Then jump on a burger straight after!"

1. She Loves Ju-Jitsu

Shayk broke down her wellness habits in an interview with Women’s Health. She admits that she’s not the biggest fan of most cardio workouts, like running. However, she has found a cardio exercise that she loves. “Four months ago I started jiu-jitsu with my personal trainer, and it’s great. It’s a Japanese self-defense discipline, but because there’s so many possible move combinations, it’s brilliant for constantly challenging my body and pushing it to exhaustion every time.”

2. She Does Barre Exercises in Her Hotel Room

Shayk has to do a lot of traveling for her job. However, she doesn’t let her schedule stop her from working out on a consistent basis. Shayk tells Women’s Health that she does exercises in her hotel rooms, usually a barre workout. “If I'm traveling, I try to work out in my hotel room or at work during breaks, focusing on simple barre moves that don’t need any equipment and really work my arms and bum.”

3. She Eats A Balanced Diet

Shayk may be a model, but she isn’t on any stereotypical model diet. She is open about her love of food, particularly unhealthy food. Shayk is also open about her love of a balanced diet. “Two days ago I had a huge burger with cheese, French fries, lots of ketchup, and a large Sprite,” she explains to Women’s Health. “But in the name of balance, I got up the next morning, did 30 minutes of barre in my room and ate steamed fish and grilled vegetables for dinner.”

4. She Uses Multiple Moisturizers

Shayk has amazing skin, and she needs to keep it healthy for her job, especially since she has to wear a lot of makeup. She tells Women’s Health that one of her secrets is switching what moisturizer she uses. “I make sure I always moisturize. Some people find a favorite product and stick with it for years, but I swap between moisturizers every week, so my skin doesn’t get too used to one formula and becomes immune to its benefits.”

5. She Stays Motivated

Shayk is open about her love of a balanced lifestyle. She tells Yahoo that one of the biggest parts of maintaining her lifestyle is exercise. Shayk says that she stays motivated to workout and always pushes herself. “If you decide that you want to eat all those crazy meals, you have to balance it with working out, so you always have to motivate yourself. You cannot wake up and see yourself in the mirror and think ‘I look great so I can just relax’, you have to always push yourself to be better.”

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”
