In a new social media post the reality star flaunts her incredible figure in a swimsuit while revealing that she has lost 70 pounds. “70 pounds down! Feeling happier and healthier than I’ve been in years. I still have a ways to go, but I’m so proud to finally be taking the necessary steps toward bettering my mind, body and spirit 💜💜💜,” she captioned the Instagram post. “Looking good girl,” commented one of her followers. “So incredibly proud of you. I know how hard it is to be confident and committed to weight loss. You are an inspiration to so many for many reasons. You go girl !!!!” added another. Here is everything you need to know about her weight loss journey.

1. She Gained 100 Pounds Due to Binge Eating

“As many of you have noticed, over the past few years, I have gained a substantial amount of weight,” Jazz wrote on Instagram in June 2021, discussing her food addiction. “My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years.”

2. She Decided to “Turn Over a New Leaf”

“I’m ready to change my ways; I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees now. I’m ready to take the initiative and create positive changes when it comes to my health and body. I have a fabulous team supporting me, both professionals and family/friends, but at the end of the day, I have to be the one committed toward bettering myself. I know I have the power in me to lose the weight,” she continued in the same post.

3. Her Weight Gain Was Related to Mental Health Struggles

Image,Of,Caucasian,Obese,Woman,Looks,Fearfully,While,Standing,WithShutterstock

On her TLC docuseries, I Am Jazz, she revealed that her eating issues started as a result of mental health struggles in 2019. That year she deferred her admission to Harvard University. “Having all this extra weight, I can’t do so many things with my body that I used to be able to do,” she said on a November 2021 episode of her show. “I do experience fat-shaming from my family. It makes me feel really humiliated.”

4. She Opted to Lose Weight “For Health Reasons”

“I honestly feel beautiful [at] every shape and size. I love my body the way it is. But I will say that I am trying to lose weight for health reasons,” Jazz said on a December 2021 episode of her show. “I have to feel good, too, and I don’t feel good with some of the foods that I have been eating. I really am working on this weight loss so I can be healthier and more me.”

5. She Started Running

One of the things Jazz does to help with her weight loss is exercise. Here she is going for a run with her dad. “‘There she is….the 2024 JAZZZZ’ - @gregory_scott_4 My dad is the BEST. So supportive and empathetic. Thanks for always being there for me. Now I just have to be consistent in order to reach my health goals!🩷🩷🩷 Baby steps,” she captioned a recent post.

6. What Is Binge Eating Disorder?

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, binge eating is a disorder which involves recurrent episodes of binge eating and eating larger amounts of food in a shorter period of time than most people would in the same situation. “Other associated behaviors include eating very rapidly, eating past the point of being full, eating when not hungry, and eating alone,” they say.

Whitney Way Thore has lost 100 pounds – and she is showing off her slimmed down figure. In a new video the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star reveals that she is down to 285 pounds, modeling a cute outfit and celebrating her father’s birthday. She also addressed claims that her weight loss is the result of medical surgery. Here is what she had to say – and everything else we know about the reality star’s weight loss.

1. She Did “Not Have Medical Intervention to Lose Weight”

“I hate addressing this, but no, I have not had medical intervention to lose weight,” Whitney wrote in her post. “In 2015 (season 1), I weighed 385 pounds. In 2018, I lost 50 pounds. When my mom got sick and eventually died, I lost 50 more. I weigh 285 pounds and I have been this weight for almost a year now. This is the second time in my life I’ve lost 100 pounds. I’m still very fat. Thank you for the compliments, but I really don’t like obsessing over my body and I don’t like it when others do it either.”

2. In September, She Also Addressed Weight Loss Surgery Claims

“I think it's obvious that I have lost some weight and that is true," she said in a September 2023 interview with ET. “And people say, like, 'Is it surgery?' and I'm like, 'No, it's grief, but thanks,'" she said, mentioning the death of her mother. "I see a lot of chatter online and people have asked me, 'Have you had weight loss surgery?' or something like that. No I haven't," Whitney continued. "On the show, I'll talk about my weight more, but in my personal life, I don't really find it necessary to talk about how much I weigh. It's just not something that I care to focus on and talk about."

3. She Doesn’t Want to Be Your Weight Loss Inspiration

No,Thanks.,?????if,You,Say,That,Something,Happens,No,ThanksShutterstock

“I’m just not out here to be anybody’s weight loss inspiration,” Whitney shared in another post, according to PEOPLE. “If you’re inclined to be inspired by me I appreciate that, I see you, but I’m just a complex human being focusing on a lot of other things in life besides losing weight. So it’s just not something I will ever feel comfortable saying thank you for.”

4. She Has a Fitness App

Whitney is a big proponent of exercise. She founded No BS Active, a size inclusive fitness app designed for people of all sizes that "makes workouts work for you by providing multiple modifications with clear instructions for all levels," per the app's description.

5. She Does Water Workouts

Whitney also gets her sweat on in the pool. In a video shared in January 2023, Whitney works out in the pool with her pops. Exercising in water is great for your joints, as it is low impact.

6. She Understands That “Thinness Does Not Equal Happiness”

“Most of my adult life consisted of dramatic weight gain, a PCOS diagnosis, self-loathing & a non-stop desire to lose weight and be this girl again — until I realized how insane this was,” Whitney wrote on Instagram in 2018, per Life & Style. “I know, because I’ve lived it, that thinness does not equal happiness and it does not equal physical or mental health.”

7. She Loves Herself

“The woman I am now can dance with reckless abandon. She can frolic in a bikini. She can demand love and respect that is not contingent on her dress size. The woman I am now can LIVE, knowing that I am completely deserving of every single wonderful thing this world has to offer,” she continued in the same post.

Adele’s new album, 30, is out today, getting rave reviews. Fans are also impressed with her weight loss. She lost 100 pounds during the pandemic lockdown, and has talked about how she did it—and, in a new interview, how she still has insecurities despite the major achievement. Read on to see 5 things Adele has to say about her outlook—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Still Has Things About Her Body She Does Not Like

“I don’t know if I feel different. I still have things about my body that I don’t like,” she said in an interview with The Face magazine published Thursday. “They’re not insecurities. But on the cover of Vogue, they were all trying to put me in sleeveless dresses. I was like: ’I ain’t showing my arms! Are you mad?‘ I’ve never liked my arms, ever, and I still don’t like my arms. It goes back to that thing of being thin and being happy. “Yeah, my arms are half the size, don’t mean I f–king like them! F–king hate my feet still.”

2. She Can’t Wear Stuff That Used to Fit

“There’s so much jewelry I can’t wear [now] because of my hands. No one tells you that, when someone loses weight,” she explained. “Not that I was trying to lose weight. But my rings don’t fit me anymore. Things that were gifts for my 21st birthday, I can’t f–king wear,” she told the Face.

3. She Worked Out Three Times a Day

“It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day,” she told British Vogue. She added: “So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night. I was basically unemployed when I was doing it. And I do it with trainers.”

4. She Can Joke About Her Weight Loss

She joked about her weight loss in her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live. "I know I look really, really different since you last saw me," Adele said. "But actually, because of all the Covid restrictions…I had to travel light and I could only bring half of me, and this is the half I chose."

5. This is What She Wants to Say with 30

With her new album 30: “I just wanted to acknowledge all of the many layers of myself, which I think is definitely something that comes with age. Obviously, after a really big life moment, like my divorce, it’s good to experiment a little bit more with sort of eclectic inspirations. I wanted to, more than anything, just comfort myself. It wasn’t really about what I wanted to say for people. It was more like: ’What do I need to hear for myself, lyrically?’ It was just my friend, [the process of] making this album. I had to spend a lot of time on my own in order to figure a lot of things out,” she told the Face.

Deem tells Us Weekly that she is now eating healthier. She says that she is eating a lot more veggies. "I eat salads. I used to hate salads and now I love them.” “My favorite salad is blackened salmon with goat or feta cheese, garbanzo beans, Greek olives, beets, tomatoes, carrots and cucumber,” dietitian Laura Jeffers, MEd, RD, LD, tells the Cleveland Clinic. “I’ll eat any dark green leaf, but spinach is my favorite. I gave up my iceberg lettuce fetish years ago and my body is thanking me....After you wrap salads into your diet regularly you’ll be surprised at how you’ll begin to feel good about what you’re eating — and how creative you can get. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss looks amazing these days—and she’s proud of her progress. Burruss, 48, shared a picture of herself wearing black leggings and a purple top, posing next to friend Toya Johnson. “Happy birthday @toyajohnson!!!!!! So many great memories that I could post. I hope this year brings lots more happy & fun times for us to remember! Everybody give @toyajohnson some bday love! 🎂🎉🎊,” she captioned the post. Burress is open about what it took to lose the excess weight—here’s how she did it.

1. 31 Pounds Down

Burruss lost 31 pounds through diet, exercise, and taking the supplement Hydroxycut, and is now in the best shape of her life. "I'm feeling myself right now," she told Essence. "I'm a foodie. My weight has been going up and down for years. I've been trying to lose weight, to be honest, for the last year and a half. I had a goal in mind of where I wanted to get to, and I just kept getting further and further away from it "I was tired of being thick. I literally saw somebody post something negative about our outfits. They were like, 'Why do they always look stuffed?' I said, 'Oh no! You are not going to tell me I look stuffed in an outfit ever again!'"

2. Life-Changing Experience

Kandi Burruss.2Kandi Burruss/Instagram

Burruss hasn’t been in the 130-pound range since season two of RHOA. "I was on there for 15 years, ya'll," she told Essence. "If you can just imagine for me, this has been a life-changing experience. I never knew I needed it as much as I did until I did it. I think, as women, we kind of get settled in the fact that, 'Oh, I'm getting older. You're supposed to gain a few pounds... I think I was kind of falling into that mindset when that's really not the case."

3. Ozempic Experience

Ozempic,Insulin,Injection,Pen,Or,Insulin,Cartridge,Pen,For,Diabetics.Shutterstock

Burruss says Ozempic didn’t work for her. "I saw so many people who were trying it and losing weight. So I was like, ‘Okay, I'm going to try this.' And I didn't lose any weight,” she told E! News. "My doctor was like, ‘I don't know what the problem is, I'm not seeing this in other people’. It didn't curb my appetite. I know some people are like, ‘Oh, I can't eat.' Not me! I was eating appetizers, a regular meal and dessert, okay? It didn't stop anything for me."

4. Resistance Bands

Burruss loves the Renoj Exercise Workout Bands. “These will have you sweating, OK?” she told E! News. “You don't always need large weights to workout that will help tone and tighten your muscles. These come in a nice little bag and there are bands with different intensities. There's nothing like a good resistance band to get toned and to get that sweat going. These seem simple, but they are not easy. They are the perfect workout accessory because they're small and light. You can keep them at home. You can travel with them. They are just perfection."

5. Sleeping Beauty

before-and-after-photo Kandi used the key ingredient in Hydroxycut (C. canephora robusta) with diet and exercise and was remunerated. Average weight loss in 60 days with the key ingredient was 10.95 lbs. with a low-calorie diet and 3.7 lbs. in 8 weeks with a calorie-reduced diet and moderate exercise.

Burruss swears by sleep for health and beauty. “The best self-care is sleep!” she told New Beauty. “I’m always on the go, but if I can get some sleep after a performance, I will. I try not to go out after shows unless something really great is going on… I have three beauty treatments that I love: Eyelash extensions—I like a natural lash look; a facial at Pretty Faces; and last but not least, getting my nails done by my nail tech, Nita aka ‘ImNails.’ therapist. We can talk all day!”

Discover how elite CrossFit athlete Dani Elle Speegle stays in peak condition with weightlifting, golfing, jumping rope, hiking, and cold plunges.

Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"
Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
